All eyes are on FIFA 22 as the game prepares for release, with some players already in the game thanks to early access.
EA has been drip-feeding the ratings to us in the run-up to launch, and Cristiano Ronaldo's new rating certainly came as a shock to us all.
With Ronaldo ousted as 2nd best player in the game, what is his rating in FIFA 22?
Tough call
It seems harsh on Cristiano Ronaldo that his ratings should go down after winning the Golden Boot in Serie A last season, but that is exactly what has happened with his new 91 OVR.
Ronaldo scored 29 times in Serie A for Juventus in just 33 appearances, five more than second-place Romelu Lukaku who has seen a massive upgrade to his ratings.
CR7's ratings may have taken a hit because of Juventus' poor league finish (4th), but that hardly seems to be his fault with that goal tally!
Poor Ronaldo must be wondering what he has to do to become the game's best player, but he has certainly started well in his second spell in Manchester.
New stats
Let's start off with his pace. Ronaldo has seen his Pace drop -2 from 89 to 87 in FIFA 22, with both his Acceleration and Sprint Speed taking a hit.
His Dribbling has also dropped -1, with downgrades for his Agility, Reactions, and Ball Control attributes.
Ronaldo will be as clinical as ever as his Shooting stats have remained the same, although he won't be as physically strong with drops for both Stamina and Strength.
One positive is his Passing levels have risen thanks to an increase in his Crossing and Free Kick Accuracy stats.
