Brentford's Frank 'The Tank' Onyeka will be an early FUT 22 beast

We are all getting excited for FIFA 22 and in particular Ultimate Team, but will we see any surprise stars shoot themselves into FUT folklore?

Silas Katompa Mvumpa has been the revelation this season with a string of excellent cards, but Victor Ibarbo, Gervinho, and Seydou Doumbia will always be the OG trio.

We have our eyes on a Premier League newcomer ahead of the season and are tipping him to become a FUT 22 favourite early in the cycle.

FIFA 22

After months of speculation, EA has officially announced that FIFA 22 will be released on Friday, 1 October 2021.

We will likely see the ratings revealed closer to the release date, so expect to see them rolled out in September.

With details released ahead of FIFA 22 Ultimate Team along with a trailer, we can't wait to get started on the new game.

Our first chance to do so will be in the FUT 22 Web & Companion App, so make sure you know what you're doing!

Float like a Butterfly

Brentford announced themselves to the Premier League in style on the opening day of the season with a fine 2-0 win over Arsenal.

The Bees showed great energy as they pressed and harried Arsenal for 90 minutes, and their display was epitomised by striker Ivan Toney tracking back to his own corner flag in the dying seconds.

Toney and strike-partner Bryan Mbuemo were excellent throughout, while the defence was largely untroubled.

However, there was one player on the pitch who caught our eye, and we are expecting big things from him in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

Frank 'The Tank'

Brentford's signing of Frank Onyeka has gone massively under the radar this summer, and he was immense against the Gunners.

Onyeka only cost Brentford £9 million this summer, but his presence will be felt in the virtual world as well as in the Premier League.

If you aren't aware of who Onyeka is, get familiar with him. The Nigerian is 23-years-old and boasts a highly sought after array of stats in FIFA.

ONE TO WATCH - Onyeka could be involved in the early season promo

Nicknamed Frank 'The Tank', Onyeka could be the fastest Premier League central midfielder in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team with 88 Pace.

That's not all though, as his 92 Stamina and 80 Strength make him a powerful presence in the middle of the park.

With an expected overall of 76, we think Onyeka will be a very popular man upon the game's release.
