FIFA 22 TOTW 19: Donyell Malen lights up Bundesliga with stunning performance

Attention may have diverted to the recently launched Team of the Year promo but football is a quick game in more ways than one, no better exemplified than our pick for FIFA 22 TOTW for Week 19.

We'll take a look at three players who have made their case for TOTW status and what they did to earn their place! Would you want any of these players in your FIFA 22 FUT squad?

Donyell Malen

When you think of Borussia Dortmund's attacking talents you think; Haaland, Reus, T. Hazard, and possibly the recently departed Jadon Sancho.

But Dortmund has always prided themselves on developing new talents and bringing them to a world-class level and evidence for that is the improvement seen in Donyell Malen this season.

The former PSV winger got a hattrick of assists in Dortmunds scintillating 3-2 victory over Hoffenheim. The first, to set up Haaland, was unreal. A quick one-two as he darted into the box before firing it across to the main man.

The second, a cute pass played ahead to an onrushing Reus and the last more great wing-play before fizzing it into the box with a Hoffenheim defender unable to do anything but send it into his own net.

Joao Moutinho

Wolves have been impressive this season and a lot of that is down to the highly-experienced Joao Moutinho. The club are currently unbeaten in five Premier League, a run that contains four wins including against Manchester United.

Moutinho scored a worldie in that game and he did the business again this weekend against Brentford with a truly sumptuous strike.

He turned provider too, setting up compatriot Ruben Neves for the second in a 2-1 win.

Nabil Fekir

Real Betis have been LaLiga's surprise package this year, capitalising on Barcelona and Atlético Madrid's poor form to find themselves up in 3rd.

What isn't a surprise is the fact that Nabil Fekir has been central to that effort.

The French attacking-midfielder needs few introductions and he once again showed why he can mix it with the best with this MOTM performance.

Two assists left the Espanyol defence dazed and confused while he reaped his rewards, helping Betis to a 4-1 win.
