The Silver Stars event is in full swing in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, with EA having released some awesome unlockable cards via SBCs and objectives.
We wait to see how relevant they are in the long run, but for now, it's a nice bit of fun that is bringing us daily content.
Check out everything you need to know about the new promo right here.
Latest - Silver Foxes Come to Play
It was just the two players released for the Silver Stars Series promo, with Danny Welbeck getting a new SBC and Lukas Podolski the objectives.
Both are ageing players, so tie in to the Silver Foxes day of the event.
Release Date
The Silver Stars Series kicked off on Friday, 25 January, at the usual time of 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.
Despite what the initial message from EA said, the promo will run from Friday, 25 February to Wednesday, 2 March, NOT Friday, 4 March to Wednesday, 9 March.
The last of the new content is expected to be released on Wednesday, 2 March at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT, but the SBCs and objectives will still be available to complete for a week from their release.
Silver Stars Series
FUT Sheriff was the first to announce the name of the promo as Silver Stars Series.
There was confusion around when the event would be coming, or even if it was a full promo, so EA did a good job of keeping things quiet.
Each day multiple players will be released via SBCs and/or objectives, and although they will have the rating of a Silver card, their stats tell a whole different story.
Similar to what we see each week with the Silver Stars player, these cards will have attributes that are much better than their overall card rating suggests.
Objective Players
Each day we have gained an additional objective player or two, one which needs completing in Squad Battles, the other in the Live FUT Friendly: Silver Lounge. These players are:
Squad Battles
- Talles Magno (Expires Friday, 4 March)
- Maxim Leitsch (Expires Saturday, 5 March)
- Kevin Malcuit (Expires Sunday, 6 March)
Silver Lounge
- Joelinton (Expires Friday, 4 March)
- Rico Henry (Expires Saturday, 5 March)
- Rayan Cherki (Expires Sunday, 6 March)
- Jake Cooper (Expires Monday, 7 March)
SBC Players
In addition to the objective players that you can add to your squad for free, EA has been releasing SBC players each day. They are:
- Reiner Jesus (Expires Friday, 4 March)
- Flashback Kevin De Bruyne (Expires Friday, 4 March)
- Anthony Elanga (Expires Saturday, 5 March)
- Flashback Paul Pogba (Expires Saturday, 5 March)
- Wylan Cyprien (Expires Sunday, 6 March)
- Harisson Marcelin (Expires Monday, 7 March)
- Flashback Marco Reus (Expires Monday, 7 March)
Silver Stars
Silver Stars have been a staple in FIFA Ultimate Team for a while now as players battle it out in the Live FUT Friendly: Silver Lounge.
In what is a much more relaxed game mode, players can use alternative options for their squads and really enjoy the game.
We have seen multiple releases of Silver Stars before, such as the Samba Stars EA released in FUT 21.
However, this new promo is far more substantial, with many players released to build your Silver Squad around.
Leaks
13 names were leaked ahead of the release of the Silver Stars Series promo.
One of the standout names was Kevin De Bruyne, who did receive a Flashback Silver Stars version.
So far, 11 of the 13 leaked players have received a card in the promotion, so Charly Musonda and Danny Welbeck are expected to follow very soon.
