Latest - Winner Announced

EA has just announced the official winner of the April Player of the Month award for Serie A.

Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic claims the award, after a great showing for his side as they battle to try and maintain the title.

Not only did Brozovic provide top defensive cover throughout the month, but he popped up with a couple of goals for the team too.

Release Date

The SBC for March’s Player of the Month Victor Osimhen has already expired so we should see the new SBC very soon!

Despite the official announcement from EA, the Brozovic SBC has not yet gone live.

We expect it to drop at 1pm ET / 6pm BST, on Wednesday, 4 May.

The Contenders

Although EA doesn't release a nominees list for Serie A, we put together some of the top-performing players from the month, so you can take a look at the big stars that Brozovic beat to the award.

Ciro Immobile

Italian hitman Ciro Immobile is one of the current crop of strikers who seems to be getting better with age!

The Lazio striker has scored five times in April, including a devastating hat-trick as his side below Genoa away 4-1.

Luis Muriel

For a variety of reasons Luis Muriel has had a bit of a stop-start campaign, but he looks to be back in top form now having scored four times in his last four matches.

Add in the three assists he has provided, and you can see why he is our favourite for the Serie A Player of the Month award.

Ivan Perisic

At your service. Ivan Perisic must be a favourite among his teammates right now as he has provided four assists in April.

The Croatian star also bagged a goal against Bologna, although it turned out to be the only game Inter has lost this month!

Gerard Deulofeu

Former Watford and Barcelona forward Gerard Deulofeu has had a terrific month, contributing towards five goals for Udinese in just five appearances.

His shift to a more central role this season has seen his goal output soar, as shown by his three goals and two assists in April.

Sasa Lukic

Torino is unbeaten in April, with Serbian midfielder Sasa Lukic playing every minute of their five matches so far.

Lukic is not known for his goal-scoring, however, he bagged a brace in games against Spezia and Atalanta having scored just once previously this season.
