Team 2 for Road to the Knockout is live!

Extra boosted cards have entered into FIFA 22 Ultimate Team packs, with players also available through an SBC and an Objective.

Read on to find out all the latest cards, and how to get them, for Road to the Knockouts Team 2.

Latest news - Full Team 2 out now

Team 2 has just been announced, with eye-catching cards for Frenkie de Jong (89 OVR) and Jesus Navas (87 OVR).

The inclusion of these two from La Liga is great for the League, as it doesn't have the superstars of old.

89 OVR Reus and 88 OVR Werner will also get into a lot of teams from what we've seen at the start of this season.

Terrific trio confirmed

The official Champions League Twitter page has revealed three cards that will be released later today.

Premier League duo Timo Werner and Fred will be included in the drop and should prove popular choices in FUT 22.

Benfica's pacey Brazilian centre-back Lucas Verissimo is also included and could prove a useful player for hybrid squads.

Release Date

The second batch of Road to the Knockouts cards arrived in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team on Friday, 22 October at the usual time of 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

We are expecting the Road to the Knockouts event to continue for another week, with EA’s Halloween event set to follow.

Whether it is a return to Ultimate Scream or a continuation of Rulebreakers from last season, any Halloween event is always spectacular.

Road to the Knockouts

Not sure how the new RTTK cards work? Don't worry, we have you covered.

Road to the Knockouts items are special upgraded Live Items in FUT 22 that have the potential to earn two further dynamic upgrades throughout the Group Stage of each tournament:

  1. If their team qualifies for the knockout stages of their current competition.
  2. If their club earns three wins from their four remaining Group Stage matches.

Not quite the same as the Road to the Final cards we have seen in the past, these cards are limited to a maximum of just two upgrades.

Five players 'confirmed'

Respected FUT trader Donk has shared five players believed to be in tonight's promo squad.

Jordan Amavi, Edmond Tapsoba, Fred, Timo Werner, and Krepin Diatta are all the names included.

Max Kruse could possibly arrive as an Objectives player too, but that remains to be seen.

Three cards teased in FUT loading screen

The latest Ultimate Team loading screen has teased three of the RTTK Team 2 cards!

The UCL card in the centre of the screen is most likely either Chelsea's Timo Werner or Dortmund's captain, Marco Reus.

The Europa League card with 82 Pace is probably Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Edmond Tapsoba, who will be a beast in FUT 22 if he gets upgraded!

The Europa Conference League card could be fan favourite Stephan El Shaarawy, who now plays for Jose Mourinho's Roma in Italy.

SBC & Objectives

So far we have had two Road to the Knockouts SBCs released, and one Objectives player.

Dutch centre-back Matthijs de Ligt (OVR 87) was the first, and he was followed by France and Real Betis playmaker Nabil Fekir (OVR 86).

While these SBC players are good cards themselves, the way the FUT market is right now they just are not offering value for money.

Another French midfielder, Benjamin Andre (OVR 83), was released as an Objectives player and can be unlocked by completing challenges in the Live FUT Friendly: Group Stage Glory.
