The women's game has been gaining more and more popularity in recent years, with more TV coverage giving viewers a chance to watch matches they wouldn't have been able to before.
FIFA has been reflecting this by including the women's national teams on past games, and this year it is no different.
Read on to see what FIFA 22 has in store for the women's game.
Top 22 dropped
EA has just dropped the 22 top-rated women for FIFA 22 - and it is stacked.
Following the release of the top 22 men on FIFA 22, it was only a matter of time before we saw the same from the women.
With a big drop-off for Megan Rapinoe, that left the top spot to be taken over by newer talent.
It's great to have the overall ratings out, but we want to see more in-depth stats!
Rapinoe loses her crown
Last year saw American superstar Megan Rapinoe given a huge rating of 93 OVR!
Despite still playing at the top level, age is catching up with her and she is not quite at the same level.
At 36, we expect to see her on the downward slope of her high ratings.
New superstar
Vivianne Miedema is the new star of the game.
The Dutch player, who is currently playing for Arsenal, has an astonishing goal return.
Over the past few seasons, she has scored 102 in 105 appearances.
It's clear to see why she is one of the players at the top of the tree.
Gold for Bronze
Lucy Bronze is an absolute warrior of a player for club and country.
A previous Women's Player of the Year, she has returned to Manchester City to help them win the Champions League after securing it three years in a row with Lyon.
An increase of +2 is a great reward for the England star.
Renard Retains Rating
A giant in the game, Wendie Renard is another Lyon player.
The commanding centre back not only dominates in defence but is always an aerial threat at set-pieces, standing at 6'2".
By retaining her previous rating from last year, she manages to cement herself as the joint first best player on the game.
What we need to see
Now we have their awesome ratings, we can't wait to see how they play in game.
Previously there haven't been many game modes to fully utilise the women players.
Will we see that change in FIFA 22?
There haven't been announcements as to any changes yet, but EA could surprise us by including a game mode within FUT to really get the most out of the players.
