FIFA 22: Liverpool star made HIGHEST RATED player in the Premier League in latest update

The latest FIFA 22 ratings update has now gone live, and EA has made some significant changes this week.

We've compiled all the main upgrades and downgrades that are now live in the latest version of the FIFA 22 squads below.

Upgrades

The following players have seen their overall rating upgraded in the FIFA 22 database.

Mohamed Salah (OVR 90 - OVR 91)

Mohamed Salah is now officially rated as the best player in the English Premier League with a huge 91 OVR card - and rightly so!

Liverpool's Egyptian King has been simply world-class over the course of the past three years and leads the PL charts for goals AND assists so far this season.

David De Gea (OVR 86 - OVR 87)

David De Gea seems to have returned to his fantastic best for Manchester United, after having a shaky spell during the tough 2020/21 season.

The Spaniard has kept the Red Devils in matches countless times over the past month with excellent saves and EA has boosted his OVR to 87-rated in FIFA 22.

Piotr Zielinski (OVR 81 - OVR 82)

Piotr Zielinski, who was one of FIFA 22 Ultimate Team's early cheap beats, has seen his rating increase to 82 OVR.

The Poland international is hitting his prime at 27 years of age, catching the eye of some of Europe's biggest clubs in the transfer market!

Downgrades

The following players have seen their overall rating drop in the latest FIFA 22 update.

Jadon Sancho (OVR 86 - OVR 85)

Yet ANOTHER Manchester United player has seen his rating drop, following a Red Devil duo having been downgraded in the last ratings update.

This time it's England youngster, Jadon Sancho, who got so many United fans excited when he arrived at Old Trafford in the summer but has only shown glimpses of brilliance with no real consistency.

Richarlison (OVR 82 - OVR 81)

Everton have been struggling massively in the Premier League recently and are currently sitting in 16th place after manager Rafael Benitez was sacked last week.

Richarlison has been hindered by injuries throughout the course of the current season, but when fit has not played to the level that we expect of the talented Brazilian.

Saul Niguez (OVR 82 - OVR 81)

Saul Niguez is another summer signing that hasn't quite worked out.. But this time for Chelsea.

The Spaniard has struggled to get into a strong Blues side and has been poor every time he has played, which could partially be due to playing out of position in a wing-back role.
