FIFA 22: Once world-class players HAMMERED in latest Ratings Update

The latest FIFA 22 ratings update has now gone live, and EA has downgraded some of the world's most famous and beloved players.

Check out all the main upgrades and downgrades that are now live in the latest version of the FIFA 22 squads.

Upgrades

The following players have seen their overall rating upgraded in the FIFA 22 database.

Dusan Vlahovic (OVR 81 -OVR 82)

Dusan Vlahovic was perhaps the transfer saga of the January window, with the Serbian striker attracting heavy interest from Arsenal, Juventus and other European giants.

Juve's new number seven has been on fire in the Serie A this season, scoring 17 goals in 21 appearances and we can expect to see him feature in the FUT Future Stars promo.

Marc Guehi (OVR 75 - OVR 76)

Former Chelsea academy player Marc Guehi has been a revelation for Crystal Palace and has arguably been the Eagles' player of the season so far.

The 21-year-old will most certainly be knocking on the door for an England call-up should he continue in this vain of form.

Downgrades

The following players have seen their overall rating drop in the latest FIFA 22 update.

Sergio Ramos (OVR 87 - OVR 86)

PSG summer signing Sergio Ramos has been hampered by injuries since arriving in Paris and has struggled for game time under Mauricio Pochettino.

As a result of this, The Spanish legend has been downgraded for the second time already in FIFA 22 and is now rated as an 86 OVR.

Luis Suarez (OVR 88 - OVR 87)

Another once world-class player is hitting the latter stages of his career, as Luis Suarez drops to an 87 OVR in FIFA 22.

The Uruguayan is still a top-class player and has seven goals and two assists to his name in La Liga this season, however, he is no longer able to hit the standard that he set a few years ago.

Angel Di Maria (OVR 87 - OVR 86)

Argentinian winger Angel Di Maria is yet another ageing player to be downgraded in the latest update, as the 33-year-old struggles to keep up with the pace in some matches.

The PSG playmaker still shows his class on the pitch but his output has dropped off significantly over the past several months.

Eden Hazard (OVR 85 - OVR 84)

It's sad to witness the decline of Eden Hazard over the past couple of seasons after how brilliant he was in the Premier League for Chelsea.

Hampered by injuries and out of favour with the manager, the Belgian winger can't seem to find any sort of form for Real Madrid.

Jordi Alba (OVR 85 - OVR 84)

Barcelona's struggle over the course of the past couple of years has been well documented, and this is partly due to their set of top-class players getting old.

Spanish left-back Jordi Alba is most certainly in that group as the 32-year-old continues to decline after a wonderful career.
