FIFA 22 Premier League POTM: Kane leads the list of official nominees

February’s Premier League Player of the Month is set to arrive shortly in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, and there are some huge stars nominated for the award.

The winner will receive an upgraded card which you can bring to your club by completing the upcoming Squad Building Challenge.

Check out the official shortlist of players below, which contains one of the world's best strikers.

Release Date

All matches from February have now been played in the Premier League, and now an official Player of the Month nominee list has been released.

The current David De Gea Player of the Month SBC expires on Thursday, 3 March, so there will likely be a few days without a live Premier League POTM SBC, as there needs to be time for the nominees to be voted for.

Friday, 4 March is the absolute earliest we would expect the new SBC to come, but it will likely be a bit later than that.

Harry Kane

Two wins and three losses are not great going for Tottenham Hotspur, but in their two wins, Harry Kane has been brilliant, including a masterclass performance which saw them beat Man City 3-2.

He got two of the goals then, and added another goal and assist against Leeds.

We're not sure it will be enough to win the award, but he is in the race, even if just in recognition for the City performance.

Joel Matip

Liverpool conceded just one goal in February, with Joel Matip central to their dominance!

Four wins from four have put them right back in the title race, and Matip also scored and assisted in the month too.

Wilfried Zaha

Just two goals in the 4-1 win against Watford has proven enough for Wilfried Zaha to be nominated for Player of the Month.

With great speed and dribbling attributes, a Zaha Player of the Month could be very useful.

Ben Mee

Burnley are fighting for their Premier League status, and captain Ben Mee is leading by example with a goal and two clean sheets last month.

We don't see Mee being hugely popular in the vote, but a worthy nominee nonetheless.

Che Adams

With some superstars on the list of candidates, it is Che Adams who is the frontrunner for the February Player of the Month award.

Southampton has been on a great run of form, which saw them go unbeaten in the month, winning three and drawing one.

Adams had a goal involvement in every match, scoring three times and assisting once, which included a late winner in a 3-2 victory over Spurs, then the equalising goal in a 1-1 draw with Manchester United a few days after.

Ryan Fraser

Ryan Fraser scored his first goal of the season and doubled his assist tally in February to put him on the shortlist.

We don't expect him to win, but it is a sure sign of Newcastle's improvement under Eddie Howe.
