The 2021/22 Premier League campaign has come to an end and it's been one of the most competitive seasons of all time with the title race, top-four race and relegation battle all coming down to the final few matches.
There have been some outstanding individual performers and the Premier League has now revealed the official Player of the Season (POTS).
We could see EA hand the winner of the Premier League POTS an incredible SBC card in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

The official Premier League Twitter account has announced that Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has won the 2021/22 Player of the Season award.
The Belgian midfield maestro was influencial in Manchester City's succesful title winning season, to say the least.
De Bruyne scored 15 goals, with four coming in one single match, whilst registering 9 assists this season, one being the crucial pass to set up Ilkay Gundogan for the winning goal against Aston Villa on the final day of the season.
POTS De Bruyne (OVR 99)
Kevin De Bruyne could be handed a special 99 OVR Premier League Player of the Season SBC card in Ultimate Team, just like his one back in FIFA 20!
This incredible SBC card could potentially include stats such as 99 passing, 98 dribbling, 97 shooting, 95 physicality 93 pace and 88 defending.
PL Player of the Season nominees
The official Sky Sports Premier League Twitter account has revealed the Player of the Season nominees for the 2021/22 campaign.
The following players have been nominated:

- Jarrod Bowen (West Ham)
- Joao Cancelo (Manchester City)
- Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)
- Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)

Contenders
Kevin De Bruyne has officially claimed the award but there were several top performers during the 2021/22 Premier League campaign.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (OVR 97)
Trent Alexander-Arnold has 12 assists and 2 goals to his name from the right-back position this season.
The 23-year-old was nominated for the Premier League Young Player of the Season award too.
Jarrod Bowen (OVR 95)
English winger Jarrod Bowen has enjoyed an incredible individual season in a West Ham shirt.
Bowen has managed to rack up 10 goals and 12 assists in the league.
Joao Cancelo (OVR 98)
Portugal international full-back Joao Cancelo has been simply world-class for Pep Guardiola's Manchester City this season.
Cancelo looks equally comfortable on the left and right side of the defence and has picked up 7 assists from the flanks.
Bukayo Saka (OVR 96)
20-year-old Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has scored 11 goals and picked up 6 assists in the league this season.
The England international has been outstanding for the Gunners and is another player who was nominated for the Premier League Young Player of the Season award too.
Mohamed Salah (OVR 99)
Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah was undoubtedly the front runner for this year's Player of the Season award.
The Egyptian leads the way in both goals and assists, with an incredible 23 goals and 14 league assists.
Heung-Min Son (OVR 98)
Spurs forward Heung-Min Son isn't too far behind Salah in terms of goal contributions, with 23 goals and 9 assists.
Son's combination play with England captain Harry Kane has been a joy to watch at times this season.
James Ward-Prowse (OVR 94)
Southampton central midfielder James Ward-Prowse has scored 9 goals and registered 5 assists in the 2021/22 Premier League campaign.
The English midfielder is, without doubt, one of the best free-kick takers in world football and is closing in on David Beckham's record.
