It looks like we will have seven Player of the Month SBCs each month in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, with MLS, Serie A, and the Dutch Eredivisie all featuring this season.
The MLS Player of the Month has been in Ultimate Team before, but last year’s tournament was so disrupted by the pandemic that it never took place in the game.
This year it should return though, so take a look at who could take home the MLS Player of the Month award for September.
Release Date
Any official nominees are yet to be confirmed by EA, but the MLS has awarded the September Player of the Month awarded to Mexican midfielder Eduardo Lopez.
When or if we see Lopez released into FIFA 22 Ultimate Team as an SBC remains to be seen, so make sure to keep an eye out for it.
Eduardo Lopez
You would feel pretty hard done by if you scored a hattrick and ended up on the losing team, but that is exactly what happened to San Jose Earthquakes star Eduardo Lopez.
Lopez scored six goals and assisted another through September and was awarded with the official MLS Player of the Month award.
Hany Mukhtar
Nashville’s German wizard Hany Mukhtar was in devastating form last month, scoring five goals and providing an assist too.
We saw Mukhtar receive an epic Silver Stars card last season, so don’t be surprised to see him receive a special card at some point in the FUT 22 cycle.
Ola Kamara
Four goals and an assist in just five matches makes Ola Kamara one of the form players to watch out for in the MLS right now.
Kamara’s hattrick against Chicago Fire has already earned him a Team of the Week card in FUT 22, so a Player of the Month card could be spectacular.
Damir Kreilach
Operating behind the strikers to great effect for Real Salt Lake is Croatian midfielder Damir Kreilach.
Five goal involvements for the silky playmaker includes four goals as RSL won four games out of six in September.
