January’s La Liga Player of the Month has been revealed and a special new SB card is out now in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

Check out the new SBC card and his official stats here.

Latest - SBC arrives

As expected, Angel Correa has claimed the January Player of the Month award and a special new CBS card in Ultimate Team.

EA has handed the Argentinian striker an 87 OVR card that boasts 91 dribbling, 89 pace, 88 shooting and 84 passing.

This is one of the most meta POTM cards we have seen and is definitely worth completing if you have a La Liga squad.

Correa leak

It appears that La Liga's January Player of the Month has been leaked online.

Atletico Madrid's Angel Correa looks set to win the award and earn a new SBC card in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

Fut Sheriff broke the news on Twitter, although the Argentine forward's stats are yet to be confirmed.

Release Date

The official nominees were announced on Wednesday, 26 January, meaning we should see the winner announced next week.

The announcement is also a reminder that December’s Juanmi Player of the Month SBC is soon to expire, so make sure to complete it before Thursday, 27 January.

Gerard Pique

Barcelona is still going through a tricky period both on and off the pitch, but stalwart Gerard Pique's form this January has been terrific.

Barca has picked up seven points from a possible nine, with two clean sheets chalked up against Granada and Deportivo Alaves.

Angel Correa

Not many in Europe can match Angel Correa's goal tally of four in January, with the Argentine forward scoring at least once in all his league appearances in 2022.

After losing all four of their games in December, Correa's form has helped get things back on track for Diego Simeone's men.

Sergio Canales

Sergio Canales has operated predominantly from the right in January, and the decision has borne fruit for Manuel Pellegrini and Real Betis.

The Spanish star has scored two goals and assisted two for his teammates in a run that sees Real Betis sitting third in the La Liga table.

Inigo Martinez

Just like Pique, Inigo Martinez has been key in Athletic Bilbao keeping two clean sheets from their three matches in January.

Unbeaten so far in the new year, they will hope Martinez can continue his good form as they look to push further up the table.

Santi Mina

Almost an ever-present for Celta Vigo this season, Santi Mina's performances have certainly been better than his stats suggest.

Mina has scored once in four games in January, but his energetic displays have helped his side pick up seven points and earn a nomination for Player of the Month.

Pere Milla

Elche's Spanish forward Pere Milla has hit a purple patch in January, scoring three goals from his three league starts.

Milla's goals have been crucial in helping struggling Elche away from the relegation zone as they remain unbeaten in 2022.

Jorge Cuenca

It looks like two clean sheets is the target to reach for La Liga centre-backs as Getafe's Jorge Cuenca also makes the list after a string of reliable performances.

The 22-year-old was influential in keeping both Real Madrid and Real Sociedad at bay as Getafe look to pull clear from danger at the foot of the table.
