Galatasaray is one of the biggest clubs in European football, but it's been a struggle for the Turkish side over the past few seasons.
So, have you got what it takes to rebuild the great team that once was and challenge for major trophies in FIFA 22 Career Mode?
Team Rating
Galatasaray has a 3.5-star rating in FIFA 22.
The breakdown of the ratings is as follows: ATT 72, MID 72, DEF 74.
Starting Lineup and Formation
The 5-2-1-2 formation is most suitable for the personnel of Galatasaray in order to be dynamic going forward whilst remaining defensively solid.
Starting with the three colossal centre-backs, we have Marcao, Christian Luyindama and Victor Nelsson, who are three of the standout players in the team.
The back three sits in front of the ever-reliable, Fernando Muslera in goal.
The two wingbacks who will support both the attack and the defence are DeAndre Yedlin and Patrick van Aanholt.
The midfield trio is made up of on loan Brazilian, Gustavo Enrique Assuncao, Alexandru Cicaldau and Olimpiu Morutan.
Leading the line in as a strike partnership is Ryan Babel along with Mostafa Mohamed, who boasts a five-star weak foot!
Tactics and Instructions
We want to strike a nice balance between the strikers up front, so, instruct Babel to Stay Forward and Get In Behind, whilst keeping Mohamed on Stay Central.
Allow Morutan to Free Roam, whilst keeping the more defensive of the two midfielders, Assuncao, on Stay Back While Attacking and Cover Centre.
The wing-backs are the absolute KEY to this system, so make sure to instruct both Yedlin and van Aanholt to Overlap, whilst keeping the three centre-backs on Stay Back While Attacking.
Development Plans
When it comes to developing youngsters, there are a few players to focus on within this Galatasaray squad.
Marcao (POT 81), Christian Luyindama (POT 77) and Victor Nelsson (POT 82) can be transformed into a top-class defensive trio with just a few years of training, as they are 'meta' centre-backs in FIFA 22.
23-year-old striker, Mostafa Mohamed (POT 81) can also turn into a top number nine, especially with his five-star weak foot which is a huge bonus for finishing.
You can also rely on Olimpiu Morutan (POT 80) to be the club's long-term number 10.
Transfer Market
Starting budget: £14 million
Who should go?
Galatasaray seems to have a fair few older players that do not fit the 'meta' who can be sold in order to generate funds for other signings.
Mbaye Diagne (OVR 74), Omer Bayram (OVR 70), Sofiane Feghouli (OVR 75) and Arda Turan (OVR 71) can all go to free up some funds for new signings.
We would also let Taylan Antalyali (OVR 73) leave too as he will be put down the pecking order once a new midfielder is signed.
The following youngsters can also be sold as their potential rating is not high enough in FIFA 22 to challenge for a first-team spot:
Isik Kaan Arslan, Atalay Babacan, Berk Balaban
Loans
Gustavo Enrique Assuncao (POT 84) is one of the most promising youngsters on the books, however, he is currently only signed on a loan deal.
So, we would recommend signing the Brazilian on a permanent transfer as soon as possible.
Baris Alper Yilmaz (POT 77), Sacha Boey (POT 79) and Kerem Akturkoglu (POT 79) are all promising young players capable of reaching the top level.
Galatasaray already has several players out on loan too, with Yunus Akgun (POT 74), Valentine Ozornwafor (POT 73) the ones to keep an eye on.
Who to sign?
The main area where Galatasaray needs upgrading in FIFA 22 is the midfield, with Assuncao in need of a partner.
A box-to-box midfielder who can break up the play but also drive forward and support the attack is exactly what we are after.
AC Milan’s Franck Kessie (OVR 84) is our favourite in this position, and if you are prepared to wait a season you could snap him up on a free!
With an incredible 94 Stamina and high work rates both defensively and offensively, Kessie really does cover every blade of grass.

Board Expectations
You will have to keep on top of your board expectations if you want to succeed as manager of Galatasaray in FIFA 22.
Domestic Success is the most important one for your popularity with the board as they see it as critical to the success of the club.
The board also have assigned high priority to Brand Exposure and Continental Success, so it's important you are performing at the highest level in these departments.
The Financial and Youth Development targets are a low priority, so you don't need to stress too much about these.
