FIFA 22 Future Stars Academy: Two new player objectives set to drop soon

The Future Stars promo has taken over FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, giving some of the most talented young players in the game insane boosted cards.

Team 1 had Jude Bellingham and Dusan Vlahovic as the big stars, and we saw Trevoh Chalobah as our first Academy Player.

Last year we had three Academy Players in total, and it looks like we know who should be joining the Chelsea man.

Latest - Two Academy Players Coming Soon

We have already seen two Future Stars Academy Players leaked, with Amine Gouiri and Samuel Chukwueze set to follow Trevoh Chalobah and gain sets of objectives themselves.

It now looks like both will be released at the same time, expected to come on Friday, 11 February, probably at 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.

As FUTZone points out in their Tweet that leaked the news, this should mean we can complete both the player objectives at once, although EA may try to make that hard to achieve.

We should be in for a bumper set of content when Future Stars Team 2 drops later!

Two Academy Players leaked

We already have Trevoh Chalobah as an Academy Player objective, and now Fut Sheriff has leaked two more.

One of the players set to join the Chelsea man is Amine Gouri from Nice, who could see his positions varying between a striker and a left midfielder.

He already received a decent Team of the Week card, so if you look at those stats and amp them up for a Future Stars version he could be brilliant!

The other player is Villarreal's Samuel Chukwueze, who will be a speedster with top quality dribbling to bring to your club.

Last season we only saw three Academy Players added, so we may already know all the inclusions for this year.

Future Stars

Future Stars is a promotional event in Ultimate Team with special Future Stars player cards handed out to the most promising youngsters in world football.

Only players who are aged 23 or younger are eligible for a Future Stars card, so it often provides plenty of new options for your team in FUT.

TOP TALENTS - FIFA 21's Future Stars promo did not dissapoint

These Future Stars cards will represent players at the expected pinnacle of their careers, rather than right now.

Over the years we have seen some insane Future Stars cards released, so this is certainly a promo worth getting excited for.

Release Date

The Future Stars event began on Friday, 4th February and will run for two weeks, ending on Friday, 18 February.

There will be two teams of Future Stars players released along with plenty of Objectives, SBCs, and even Swap tokens.

High-value packs and players will be made available through the Swaps, with Crystal Palace's on-loan star Conor Gallagher one of the top rewards.

Future Stars Academy

We have seen Academy Players released as part of previous Future Stars promos, so we had a fairly good idea of what would come this season.

Last season we saw three Academy players released, with Marc Cucurella, Wesley Fofana, and Reinier all made available through objectives.

Reinier and Fofana both began the promo with 78 OVR, while Cucurella started higher with an 82 OVR.

All three players saw their position change at least once too.

Fofana's progression included a switch to CDM, and his progress consisted of four cards, culminating in an 86 OVR centre-back.

At this stage of the season, an 86 OVR is not going to be groundbreaking, so we would like to see the academy players potentially reaching 88/89 OVR this time around.

FIFA 21 Academy Players:

  • Wesley Fofana - 78 - 82 - 84 - 86
  • Reinier - 78 - 82 - 85 - 87
  • Marc Cucurella - 82 - 84 - 86 - 87

Trevoh Chalobah

Chelsea youngster Trevoh Chalobah is this year's first Future Stars Academy Objective Player.

The 22-year-old burst onto the scene this season with several outstanding performances and has made himself a player that Thomas Tuchel can rely on when he is called upon.

The young Englishman can play in both central defence and in the midfield, so EA has captured this nicely with his Future Stars Player Pick card.

You can find out how to unlock the card and see all the versions right here.
