As we head into the weekend, FUT Champs will get underway with the regularly scheduled Weekend League running from Friday-Sunday.
However, things will be a little different in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team this week as players will have an extra day to complete their matches.
EA announced the change early on Friday, 11 March, and the change should make it easier to squeeze in all the games!
Scheduled Maintenance
EA confirmed that there is maintenance scheduled across their games modes in the morning of Friday, 11 March.
Between 3am ET / 8am GMT - 5am ET / 10am GMT, fans be be unable to access Ultimate Team and VOLTA game modes.
Match creation will also have been disabled 30 minutes prior to maintenance beginning, so don't fret if you can't start a game!
Players still playing titles as far back as FIFA 16 will be impacted, although the maintenance will only affect PlayStation users and PC/Stadia.
Extra time
It's not all bad news if you were planning on getting your FUT Champs campaign started early.
Due to the maintenance, this weekend's FUT Champs competition will be extended by 24 hours to make up for the time lost this morning.
This change will affect players across all platforms, even the ones not impacted by the scheduled maintenance.
With Weekend League now running from Friday-Monday, there really is no excuse not to get your 20 games in!
FUT Birthday Team 2
