Fulham was once established as a regular in the English top-flight, however, it's been a downward spiral for the Cottagers over the past several seasons.
With promotion seemingly out of reach, have you got what it takes to take Fulham back to the Premier League in FIFA 22 Career Mode?
Team Rating
Fulham has a 3.5-star rating in FIFA 22.
The breakdown of the ratings is as follows: ATT 76, MID 73, DEF 73.
Starting Lineup and Formation
The 4-2-3-1 formation is most suitable for Fulham in order to get the most out of their attackers whilst remaining defensively stable at the back.
The wide or narrow variation can be used depending on your own personal preference.
Starting with the striker, Aleksandar Mitrovic. The number nine is by no means a 'meta' player in FIFA 22 but can score goals if you give him a chance!.
The three creative players operating in the space behind Mitrovic are Ivan Ricardo Cavaleiro, Bobby Decordova-Reid and Harry Wilson, who should provide both goals and assists for the team.
Giving the team defensively stability in midfield are Harrison Reed and Jean Michael Seri.
In the full-back positions, we've gone for Kenny Tete and Antonee Robinson, whilst Denis Odoi partners Tosin Adarabioyo in central defence.
Paulo Gazzaniga is the man between the sticks.
Tactics and Instructions
With striker Mitrovic currently being the main target up front, we want to maximise his goal threat.
So, instruct the striker to Stay Forward and Stay Central to give him the best possible chance of a sight at goal.
Left-back Antonee Robinson is the more attacking of the two full-backs, so instruct the USA international to Overlap, whilst keeping Kenny Tete on Stay Back While Attacking.
Make sure you instruct your two defensive midfielders to Cover Centre and Stay Back While Attacking, or you may leave yourself vulnerable to the counter attack.
Development Plans
When it comes to developing youngsters, there are a few players to focus on within this Fulham squad.
18-year-old Fabio Carvalho (POT 86) can develop into a truly top-class attacking midfielder with a few years of training.
Tosin Adarabioyo (POT 81) and Harry Wilson are both capable of becoming Premier League quality players.
We would recommend converting Denis Odoi (POT 70) to an out and out centre-back, as we think his stats are best suited to that position in FIFA 22.
Transfer Market
Starting budget: £14 million
Who should go?
Fulham seems to have a fair few players who can be considered as 'dead wood' and can be sold.
Tim Ream (OVR 70), Anthony Knockaert (OVR 71), Alfie Mawson (OVR 70), Nathaniel Chalobah (OVR 74) and Michael Hector (OVR 71) can all go, which should free up around £10 million.
We would also be tempted to let Aleksandar Mitrovic (OVR 76) leave too, as he can be replaced by a more effective player in-game and will be sold for a further £10 million.
Tyrese Francois (OVR 61) can also be sold as his potential rating is not high enough in FIFA 22 to challenge for a first-team spot.
Loans
Jay Stansfield (POT 81) is one of the more promising youngsters on the books who isn't near the first team at the moment, so a loan spell early on could do him the world of good.
Steven Sessegnon (POT 78), Rodrigo Muniz Carvalho (POT 80) and Josh Onomah (POT 76) are all promising young players capable of becoming good squad players.
The Cottagers already have several players out on loan too, with Andre-Franck Zambo Anguissa (POT 81) the main one to keep an eye on.
Who to sign?
After player sales, you should have around £35 million to spend on new signings.
Once you've sold Mitrovic, you'll need a quality striker to replace him, of course!
Cagliari’s Keita Balde (OVR 76) is our favourite option in this position and is available for just £9 million.

Another area where Fulham needs upgrading in FIFA 22 is the defence, with Tosin in need of a quality centre-half partner.
Benfica star Lucas Verissimo (OVR 79) is our favourite to fill the centre-back role, with the 25-year-old able to reach an 84 OVR in the future.

Board Expectations
You will have to keep an eye on a few of your board expectations as manager of Fulham in FIFA 22.
The Domestic targets are the most important for your popularity with the board, as they see it as critical to the success of the club, whilst the Youth Development is of high priority.
The board have assigned medium priority to Brand Exposure, so it's important you are staying on top of this.
The Financial and Continental Success targets are a low and very low priority, so you don't need to stress too much about these.
