Gareth Southgate's England are doing the country proud in Euro 2020, and it looks like football could actually be coming home this summer!
With the young English squad performing so well, some of the players should receive major upgrades to their FIFA 22 ratings.
Harry Kane (OVR 88 → 90)
England captain Harry Kane had an incredible Premier League campaign, topping the charts for both goals and assists.
Kane has established himself as one of the best number 9's in world football and has attracted a lot of attention from potential buyers.
Spurs' star man is definitely in for an upgrade in FIFA 22, we believe to 90 OVR.
Jadon Sancho (OVR 87 → 88)
Jadon Sancho seems to be out of favour with England manager Gareth Southgate, but that won't stop him from getting a FIFA 22 upgrade!
The young Englishman has had another superb season with Dortmund, tallying up 20 goals and assists combined.
We think Sancho will be boosted to 88 OVR in FIFA 22.
Raheem Sterling (OVR 88 → 87)
England winger Raheem Sterling found himself out of favour towards the end of the season.
There is no doubting Sterling's quality, but if he is not starting week in week out then we can't see him maintaining an 88 OVR.
We are going for an 87 OVR in FIFA 22, although if he keeps up his good form at Euro 2020 we could be very wrong indeed.
Marcus Rashford (OVR 85 → 86)
Marcus Rashford has been busy this year!
The inspiring Englishman's fight to feed Britain's children didn't stop him from having a big impact with Manchester United this season, linking up with Bruno Fernandes brilliantly.
Rashford keeps developing well, so we think he's in for a +1 boost to 86 OVR in FIFA 22.
Kyle Walker (OVR 85 → 85)
Kyle Walker has had another excellent campaign, winning the Premier League with Man City again.
The 31-year old is also a key member of Southgate's England in their fight for Euro 2020 glory.
Perhaps Walker could be upgraded to 86 OVR this year, but we think EA will stick with his 85 OVR rating.
Jordan Henderson (OVR 86 → 85)
Jordan Henderson, along with a number of Liverpool players, has had a tough season riddled with injury.
The Reds captain has still shown his class on the pitch, but we think he could be one Englishman that will be downgraded in FIFA 22.
EA will most likely drop Henderson to an 85 OVR in their next title.
Phil Foden (OVR 79 → 84)
Phil Foden has well and truly burst onto the scene this year!
The 21-year-old has shone for Manchester City in the Premier League and throughout their Champions League run.
Foden is certainly in for a big boost in FIFA 22, possibly up to a rating of 84 OVR.
Harry Maguire (OVR 82 → 84)
Maguire has been solid at the back for Manchester United, linking up with left-back Luke Shaw excellently.
Harry Maguire is also a key part of England's Euro 2020 team, pairing with John Stones and conceding no goals so far throughout the tournament.
We think EA will bump Maguire up to an 84 OVR in FIFA 22.
Luke Shaw (OVR 81 → 84)
Shaw has silenced his haters this season by performing brilliantly for Man Utd.
England's number one choice left-back has been both an attacking threat and solid in defence this year.
Luke Shaw is definitely due an upgrade in FIFA 22, perhaps to 84 OVR.
Mason Mount (OVR 80 → 83)
Perhaps the fan favourite at Chelsea at the minute, it's been an astronomic rise for academy graduate Mason Mount.
The 22-year-old has endured a breakthrough season in 19/20 before winning over new manager Thomas Tuchel in a heartbeat last term.
Midfielder mount is now a regular starter for both club and country - in what could just be the start of a magical career.
