The release date for FIFA 22 is fast approaching and we are gathering more information on the new game each day.
With various reveals for different game modes unveiled throughout August, we have a good idea of what to expect when the game arrives at the end of the month.

Release date
The release date for EA's upcoming title has been confirmed, and there is not long to wait!
After months of speculation, EA announced that FIFA 22 will be released on Friday, 1 October 2021.
Early Access will be available from Tuesday, 28 September - with the EA Play Trial going live 10 days before release.
FUT 22 Pre Season
If you can't wait to get going in FIFA 22, then make sure to make the most of the FUT 22 Pre Season event currently running in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team.
As the the name suggests, there are rewards redeemable in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, although they are not particularly high in value.
Instead, small rewards like packs and vanity items are the subject of objectives that have been released so far.
There are also consumable packs on offer to help get you started, and they can make a real difference early on in the FUT 22 season.
Download size
The download size for FIFA 22 on PS5 has been shared online thanks to PlayStation Game Size on Twitter.
According to PlayStation Game Size, the PS5 download size will be 51.909 GB, although this may be less on the console.
The pre-load for the game will be available on Wednesday, 29 September, and Saturday, 25 September for those who have ordered the Ultimate Edition of the game.
