FIFA 22: Biggest transfers in the latest squad update

The January transfer window has come to a close for another year, and now all the signings have been updated in FIFA 22.

Porto winger Luis Diaz coming to the Premier League is arguably one of the most exciting signings of the season, and we can't wait to see what the speedy Colombian can produce.

Barcelona was also busy in the window despite their financial limitations, and they have seen an influx of pace arrive in Catalonia.

January's Best

Juventus were very busy late in the January window with players coming and going, but the arrival of Dusan Vlahovic looks to be an excellent bit of business.

They also brought in Denis Zakaria for a cut-price fee as his contract was expiring in the summer, but saw the back of Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski as they joined Spurs.

Take a look at the best of the latest FIFA 22 transfers:

  • Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (OVR 83) - Barcelona
  • Luis Diaz (OVR 83) - Liverpool
  • Robin Gosens (OVR 83) - Inter
  • Dusan Vlahovic (OVR 82) - Juventus
  • Christian Eriksen (OVR 82) - Brentford
  • Denis Zakaria (OVR 81) - Juventus
  • Wout Weghorst (OVR 81) - Burnley
  • Max Kruse (OVR 80) - Wolfsburg
  • Bruno Guimaraes (OVR 80) - Newcastle
  • Tanguy Ndombele (OVR 80) - Lyon

Brentford's Finest

One signing we are thrilled to see is the return of Christian Eriksen to the Premier League with newly-promoted Brentford.

The Bees have plenty of Danish connections already, and the arrival of Eriksen could be the club's "greatest signing" according to manager Thomas Frank.

Eriksen left Inter as he was unable to play in Serie A after being fitted with an ICD following his cardiac arrest at Euro 2020.

The rules are different in the Premier League, and we can't wait to see the Danish magician back in action both in real life and in FIFA 22!

Lightning Luis

Another new arrival in the Premier League that we are excited about is Luis Diaz who has signed for Liverpool for a fee around the £40 million mark.

With 14 goals in 18 league appearances this season, Diaz certainly knows how to find the net.

Diaz boasts 92 Pace and 89 Dribbling in the latest FIFA 22 squad update so is sure to be a handful in the game too.

The Colombian has a Headliners card in Ultimate Team too, which if upgraded, will also see a transfer to Liverpool!

Dynamo Dusan

After netting 21 goals in Serie A last season, Dusan Vlahovic already looks set to beat that total with 17 in just 21 games so far in 2021/22.

Juventus have secured his signature, and we will be seeing him in the black and pink of Piemonte Calcio in FIFA 22 very soon!

In the latest squad update, Vlahovic has seen his OVR rise to 82, and his potential leap to 89.

A +3 to his Acceleration, +4 to his Sprint Speed, and +1 to his Strength are also useful boosts to the 21-year-old's stats.

Barca's Burners

Whatever the financial situation is at Barcelona, they still seem to be bringing in players, and some very good players at that!

Former Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has arrived on a free after falling out with Mikel Arteta, and the Gabonese star will provide some much-needed pace in attack.

Auba has seen his rating drop down to 83 in FIFA 22, but with 86 Finishing and 88 Sprint Speed he will still be a handful in the game.

Speaking of pace, Adama Traore has returned to Barca too on loan from Wolves, and we all know about his frightening speed!
