If you're a bit strapped for cash on your Create-a-Club save, or just looking to develop some young talent, finding a wonderkid can really spice up your team in Career Mode.

We are looking at what Spain has to offer, and it does not disappoint, with some of the best wonderkids on the game hailing from the region.

So read on to find out who the best Spanish wonderkids are to sign on FIFA 22.

What makes a wonderkid?

For a real wonderkid, you have to be a teenager upon the first Career Mode save, so that means Bryan Gil and Eric Garcia will not be on the list!

Pedri (OVR 81 - POT 91)

Pedri looks to be the future for Barcelona and the Spain national team.

He has all the attributes needed to control the game from midfield, with 86 Vision, 85 Short Passing and 80 Long Passing only set to improve.

Ansu Fati (OVR 76 - POT 90)

Another player Barcelona are looking to for their future, Ansu Fati burst onto the scene with eight goals in his first season for the club.

He has just returned from injury, picking up two goals in three games, and is ready to follow in Lionel Messi's footsteps after getting the number 10 jersey.

Gavi (OVR 68 - POT 85)

It's three from three for Barcelona, with Gavi appearing this season for both his club and country.

Technically proficient, you may need to set the right development plans to get more out of the Spanish teenager physically and in attacking play.

Yeremy (OVR 73 - POT 85)

A break from Barcelona players (for now), Yeremy rejected the offer to join the club, opting for Villarreal instead.

With them, he has won the Europa League and was trusted enough to start in the final.

Ilaix Moriba (OVR 73 - POT 85)

Another with ties to Barcelona, Ilaix Moriba left the club in search of first-team action, joining RB Leipzig over the summer.

Getting comparisons to Paul Pogba due to his physicality and creativity, he can do a bit of everything, an excellent dribbler with an eye for goal.

Karrikaburu (OVR 65 - POT 84)

Still learning his trade in the Real Sociedad B team, Karrikaburu is just at a stage where he will start getting some minutes for the first team.

There is a lot of room for improvement here, with his highest stat being 73 Penalties!

Nico Gonzalez (OVR 68 - POT 83)

Back to Barcelona now, with Nico Gonzalez seeing first-team action thanks to all the injuries at the club.

Despite him having the additional position of a CDM, he is more adept going forward and creating chances than protecting his backline.

Valera (OVR 66 - POT 83)

Valera is a current club mate of Karrikaburu at the Real Sociedad B team, on loan from Atletico Madrids B team.

Already with 84 Sprint Speed, Valera needs to improve his technical abilities to match with his movement to really excel.

Barrenetxea (OVR 74 - POT 83)

Showing that youth is given a chance at Real Sociedad, Barrenetxea is racking up plenty of appearances for the club, already at 78 for the first team.

He will need to improve with goal contributions to really push on, with just eight goals and three assists in that time.

Alex Balde (OVR 66 - POT 83)

Revisiting Barcelona one more time, Alex Balde had played all his football at youth level until this season, when he was called up to the first team to help out with the aforementioned injury problems.

He made a substitute appearance in the Champions League and managed just under half a game in La Liga before then getting injured himself!
