FIFA 22 African Wonderkids: Sulemana & Diallo can TEAR IT UP on the wings

You don't often get a lot of top African talent playing for the same country, but there are plenty of world-class players that come from the region.

In this wonderkids article, we're focussing on the next generation of up-and-comers from Africa, who can add great ability to your Career Mode save.

Read on to find out who the best African wonderkids are on FIFA 22.

What makes a wonderkid?

For a real wonderkid you have to be a teenager upon FIFA 22's release, so only players aged 19 or younger at the start of Career Mode will be included.

Kamaldeen Sulemana (OVR 72 - POT 85)

Top of the list is the pacey Kamaldeen Sulemana.

He isn't just about speed though, even if he does have 93 PAC, as Sulemana is also agile, with great dribbling and decent finishing.

Once his technical attributes start hitting above the 85 mark he will be insane.

Amad Diallo (OVR 68 - POT 85)

A big-money move to Manchester United will put pressure to perform on Diallo.

Lack of playing time won't help him develop, and a loan move to Feyenoord was spoiled by the player's injury.

Hannibal Mejbri (OVR 62 - POT 84)

Another Man United player, Hannibal Mejbri has the potential to become a top CAM, however, it's not instantly visible from his stats.

It may be that he is average at a lot of things, but doesn't excel in certain areas.

Djibril Fandje Toure (OVR 60 - POT 83)

Djibril Fandje Toure already has great movement stats and is another player that will make it to that next level when his other attributes follow.

He isn't the strongest player, so will need to wiggle through defenders as opposed to making contact with them.

David Datro Fofana (OVR 63 - POT 83)

It would be great if David Datro Fofana was slightly taller, but his 80 Jumping can add a few more inches to him.

A physical and quick striker, you will need to get him on the training ground to improve his finishing, which is only at 59 OVR.

Daouda Guindo (OVR 64 - POT 82)

Playing at left-back for Red Bull Salzburg, Daouda Guindo has 77 Aggression to help him really get stuck into players.

He has good pace for playing down the side of the pitch, with dribbling that will only get better, but you will want to improve his crossing from its current low rating.

Pape Matar Sarr (OVR 70 - POT 82)

A bit of an all-rounder, Pape Matar Sarr already has great dribbling and passing ability in the centre of the field.

Most of his other stats are in the yellow, so after a couple of seasons, you could be seeing greens across the board.

Musa Juwara (OVR 67 - POT 82)

More speed coming at you, with 84 PAC for Musa Juwara.

He also has 78 Dribbling, which means he could play better as a CAM instead of a ST.

Aliou Balde (OVR 63 - POT 81)

93 Acceleration, 91 Sprint Speed, 87 Agility, and 91 Balance means it will be hard to capture Aliou Balde.

Luckily for defenders, he only has 68 DRI, so that will give them a chance until those attributes improve.

Saidou Sow (OVR 69 - POT 81)

It may be a few seasons before you start getting the most out of Saidou Sow, but he has good base stats to make him into a formidable CB.

Already with 72 Jumping and 75 Strength, it looks like he will also be quite mobile and strong defensively.
