Certain players have outgrown their current ratings on FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, and this will be acknowledged in the Winter Upgrades.
It does not look like a new promo event will be released this week, so we could see a batch of new winter upgrades become available in packs.
Here's everything we know about the upgrades and the possible Winter Refresh in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team.
Latest - Upgrades on the way
We could be going into our second promo-less week on FUT 21.
The early signs suggest FUT Birthday is on the way next week, so a one week promo is the only option.
We can't see that happening again, but we are more likely to see some winter upgrades.
Winter Refresh would be a popular choice, but is it now too late in the season for it two happen with just two and a half months to go?
Winter Upgrade Predictions
We've narrowed down our predictions by league across the RealSport site, but here, we're going to focus on the biggest and best that we expect to see upgraded.
Bruno Fernandes (OVR 87 - 90)
It looks like it'll be two Winter Refresh appearances in two years for the Manchester United man.
Bruno Fernandes is the bookmakers favourite for the PFA Player of the Year award after running the show at Old Trafford since his move from Sporting 12 months ago.
A 98-rated TOTY card was a sign of things to come for the Portuguese international, he'll be joining the 90 club this month.
Erling Haaland (OVR 84 - 87)
When we talk about wonderkids, Erling Haaland is top of the list.
The Norweigan international hasn't been in Dortmund for long, but he's certainly proved why he's one of the hottest forwards in world football, banging in goals left, right and centre.
He'll be on EA's Winter Refresh radar without a doubt.
Joao Cancelo (OVR 83 - 86)
Joao Cancelo has been a revelation for Manchester City over the last six months.
After a pretty lacklustre first season in East Manchester, the former Juventus man has become one of the first names on Pep's teamsheet.
An upgrade will take him back to being one of the top fullbacks on FIFA.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (OVR 83 - 86)
At 39-years-old, Zlatan has seen his rating slip over the last couple of years.
But after refinding his form in the Italian capital, the Swedish GOAT could be on his way back up the FIFA rankings.
A jump to an 86 might be a bit of a stretch, but he's sure to be a popular inclusion if EA decides to run with him.
Marcos Llorente (OVR 82 - 85)
Marcos Llorente often falls under the radar for Atletico Madrid.
But the Spanish central midfielder is integral for Diego Simone's men, and it's about time EA recognised that.
14 goal involvements this season have helped Atletico to the top of the table. 85 OVR seems fair for the Spaniard.
Ruben Dias (OVR 81 - 84)
One of the signings of the season, Ruben Dias has been a sensation for Manchester City.
The Portuguese centre back has formed an impenetrable partnership with a reborn John Stones (who could too be in line for an upgrade).
He should be jumping up to an 84 at least when the refreshed ratings come around.
Alphonso Davis (OVR 81 - 84)
Now, this is an upgrade that fills us with dread.
Alphonso Davis is by far and wide the best Bundesliga fullback that FIFA 21 has to offer, and it looks as though he'll get even better this month.
The Canadian youngster has been dominating the left flank for Bayern for a couple of seasons now and is full value for any potential upgrade.
Winter OTW
The Winter OTW cards are also expected to arrive soon, with the biggest and best transfers highlighted with a new, dynamic card.
The winter transfer window was a relatively quiet one as far as high profile moves go, but there are a couple of players we'd love to see feature.
Jesse Lingard
The man who Milly Rocked at the Emirates has rediscovered his form in London.
Jesse Lingard has been a revelation since his reunion with former Manchester United boss David Moyes, earning himself a TOTW spot already.
With a European spot on the cards, Jesse could see a couple more upgrades before the year is out, which bodes really well for a potential OTW card.
Ozan Kabak
But the only way is up for the Turkish centre back, who is expected to get plenty of game time between now and the end of the season due to Liverpool's growing injury crisis.
If the Merseyside club can turn their form around, then Kabak could be in line for an upgrade or two.
