The Ligue 1 Team of the Season (TOTS) squad has arrived in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, bringing with it some of the best cards we have seen so far.
We expected Kylian Mbappe to be the star, and he is joined by PSG teammates Neymar Jr. and Angel Di Maria among the top picks.
Our focus though is on the brilliant Brazilian contingent in the squad, check out why below.
Ligue 1 TOTS Revealed
The Team of the Season promo began over a month ago on Friday, 23 April with the arrival of two squads, The English Football League (EFL) and the Community squad.
Each release so far has been at 1pm ET / 6pm BST like all FUT promos.
EA has now revealed the Ligue 1 TOTS and it will be available in packs from Friday, 28 May in FUT.
We expect the Ultimate Squad to be the final release on Friday, 4 June.
Samba Stars
The obvious Brazilian star is Neymar Jr, and fingers crossed we pack him as he could well be out of price range at 11 million coins!
With a new position allowing him full chemistry in a central role, this 96 OVR Neymar Jr is going to prove very popular indeed.
His PSG teammate Marquinhos is another top card. The centre-back boasts a 93 OVR that contains excellent pace and defensive attributes.
Lyon midfield Lucas Paqueta features in midfield, and his 90 OVR card is elite.
There are strong ratings across the board for Paqueta, allowing you to use him almost anywhere on the pitch.
The final Brazilian star comes in the form of pacey Monaco wing-back Caio Henrique, and with the five-at-the-back meta, Henrique looks more than useful.
Lucas Paqueta
Our favourite ahead of Weekend League is Paqueta as his blend of pace, power, and technical ability will be great to use.
With five base attributes above 90+, Paqueta nearly joins the Goretzka Gang if you apply a Shadow chemistry to him.
Add in four-star ratings for weak foot and skill moves and the Lyon star looks like the perfect fit for the current gameplay.
In terms of alternative players, Nabil Fekir is slightly cheaper but with poor defensive stats he is much more limited as a player.
As far as chemistry links go, there are plenty of quality options from Brazil and in Ligue 1.
All the Ligue 1 TOTS cards are top drawer, and there are some fantastic Brazilians too including Romarinho from the Saudi Pro League.
