The Team of the Season (TOTS) La Liga squad has arrived in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team.
It had previously been expected that the Bundesliga squad would arrive, but it is the turn of Lionel Messi and Karim Benzema to be released into packs.
Keep up with all the latest news ahead of the release below.
Latest - Squad out now
The La Liga Team of the Season is here!
We have waved goodbye to the Premier League squad (for now) and welcome in 15 brand-new cards on FUT 21.
Unsurprisingly, Lionel Messi leads the way with a huge 98 OVR and becomes the highest-rated card of the TOTS promo so far.
Real Madrid's French centre back Raphael Varane is also included and will certainly be one of the most popular cards around.
Release Date
The Team of the Season (TOTS) event continued on Friday, 7 May, with the La Liga team hitting packs in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team.
The La Liga TOTS cards replaced the Premier League team at 1pm ET / 6pm BST.
The Saudi Pro League squad will remain in packs until Monday, 10 May when it will be replaced by another of the minor league teams.
La Liga Squad
The squad is out now and will be available in packs for one week.
These are some of the best cards we have seen so far in FUT 21 with so many useable cards.
Centre-backs Jules Kounde and Raphael Varane are two players to take a note of as they look awesome.
Take a look at the full La Liga TOTS squad.
Team of the Season
FIFA 21's Team of the Season (TOTS) is well underway and the Premier League's top stars are currently in packs with some huge new ratings.
The Community and EFL squads are now gone, but there are still plenty more players to be released over the coming weeks.
All the players included are selected from the best-performing stars from the 2020/21 season, with some of the squads selected by the FIFA community.
These cards are some of the highest-rated in Ultimate Team so it is no surprise to see Weekend League become even more competitive during this time.
Season 6
FIFA 21 Ultimate Team Season 5 will end on Friday, 7 May, with Season 6 due to follow on straight away.
This will see a host of new objectives to complete and rewards to earn, and we could even see some more Icon Swaps released.
There are usually two opportunities for Storyline player picks throughout each season, with the first set of players is unlocked at LVL 15 and the players on offer likely to be rated between 86-88 in Season 6.
There should also be high-rated league objectives players released too, and we were treated to Marco Asensio and Florian Niederlechner in Season 5.
