Don’t waste your coins on high-value cards when you can pick up some cheaper Team of the Season (TOTS) alternatives!
The TOTS event is underway on FIFA 21 Ultimate Team and there are some excellent cards available for next to nothing.
Check out why we think you should save your coins and add these stars to your squad below.
Team of the Season
The main event has arrived on FIFA 21 Ultimate Team with the EFL and Community squads kicking things off in the Team of the Season event.
These two squads will not be the highest-rated players in the promo, but they are certainly a good start.
We have also had several exciting SBC cards to unlock, and some fun objective players to add to your squads for free.

Surprise Star
There are plenty of bargains to be had so far in the TOTS event with the EFL team offering some brilliant (and undervalued) cards.
Our pick of the bunch is League Two centre-back Ricardo Santos, who you can currently add to your squad for just 25k on PlayStation and Xbox.
Santos has helped Bolton’s title challenge this season and been an ever present in their back line.
Bolton’s Portuguese star boasts 84 Pace and 99 Strength to make him an exciting option, and did we mention he is 6’5”!
Santos actually possesses better in-game stats than Icon Moments Sol Campbell (700k), so he is the real deal if you can fit him in your team.
Costing eight times less than Headliners Dayot Upamecano, Santos can be one of the best defenders available with the right chemistry style.
League One Legend
There are some lower league gems to be found in League One too with some pacey English midfielders on offer.
Our favourite from League One is Lincoln’s midfield magician Jorge Grant who can link nicely with the likes of Wayne Rooney and Marcus Rashford.
You can pick up the 85 OVR card for just 15k, not bad when you consider Radja Nainggolan’s 85 OVR Halloween card costs nearly 100k!
For that price you won’t find many better midfielders, although fellow League One star George Honeyman is another pacey central midfielder.
The best League One card by far though is Peterborough’s Jonson Clarke-Harris who could be a great super-sub or starter if he fits your squad.
With 97 Pace, 99 Strength, and 99 Shot Power, the English striker will be more than a handful for defenders.
