This week’s FIFA 21 Ultimate Team Featured Squad has been selected by German World Cup winner Philipp Lahm.
The former Bayern and Germany captain has selected heavily from his former sides, and who can blame him after their success.
Take a look at his Ultimate XI below.
Featured Squad Battle
Squad Battles offer an offline game mode on FUT 21 and are often included in the weekly objectives.
Lahm has opted for a 4-3-3 formation, and his team certainly has a solid feel about it.
Defence
Philipp Lahm has remained loyal to Bayern and German in his backline, selecting four players from his former club, and himself!
We can’t really argue with his own inclusion as he is one of the great fullbacks in the history of the game.
Joining him in defence are several high-rated special cards, including Team of the Year Alphonso Davies and Manuel Neuer.
Player Moments Jerome Boateng and UCL Live David Alaba look like a formidable pairing in defence too.
Midfield
Another strong German selection, with all three midfielders’ top class German internationals.
Bastian Schweinsteiger is one of two ICONs, and his 91 card is pretty handy!
Next to him, the other ICON in midfield Lothar Matthaus. With huge 93 OVR, Matthaus is one of the best CM’s on FUT 21.
Yet another Bayern player completes the midfield, with Thomas Muller’s latest in-form card making the cut.
Attack
There is no room for either Ronaldo's in Lahm's front three!
It wouldn't have a full Bayern feel without lethal goal machine Robert Lewandowski leading the line, so the Polish hitman starts up front.
Barcelona and all-time great Lionel Messi supports on one side, while French speedster Kylian Mbappe provides width on the other.
This attack is one of the deadliest around with a potent combination of speed, skill and finishing.
