Leeds United returned to the Premier League after a 16-year absence, and there's now plenty more to shout about.
Not only is the club sitting in eighth in the table, but they have now signed on to become an Official Club Partner of EA Sports.
Strike Partnership
According to the release from Leeds United, the partnership will "see the club and EA Sports working closely together to create fan forward content that sees the worlds of real and digital football merge".
Samantha Ebelthite, UK&I country manager at EA, said: “Leeds United is a club with huge football heritage and this is an opportunity for us to create a deeper connection with the club’s passionate fan base throughout the season.

"We know the successes they had last season and we’re excited to join and support them on their journey in the Premier League as an official club partner.
"We’re looking forward to working closely with Leeds United in the coming months to deliver ground-breaking solutions and fan experiences that bring fans closer to the action in a season like no other.”
A new (virtual) home
When the stadium list was announced last month for FIFA 21, there was one stadium missing.
By winning promotion to the Premier League, Leeds earned the right to have their Elland Road stadium appear in FIFA 21, however, this has not come to fruition - yet.
Paul Bell, Executive Director at Leeds United said “We are on an exciting journey and are delighted to be partnering with EA SPORTS and playing a bigger part in their world-renowned FIFA football game.

"We are also really looking forward to finally be leaving the Eastpoint Arena and returning to Elland Road."
The curtailed end to the season meant that EA 'weren't able to recreate' Leeds' home ground just yet.
