FIFA 21 Future Stars: Donny van de Beek - Ratings, Potential, Ultimate Team, Career Mode & more

As we enter September it's now official, FIFA 21 is released next month!

Capturing the best young talent can be key to success in Career Mode, whilst the Future Stars promo is always a fan favourite in Ultimate Team.

How will Manchester United target Donny van de Beek shape up on the new title?

Rating - 81 OVR

We think that Donny van de Beek will start FIFA 21 as an 81 OVR, matching his rating from FIFA 20.

Donny was one of the standout performers for Ajax as they picked up their second consecutive Eredivisie title - albeit in a COVID-related fashion - but we still think an 81 OVR seems fair for the 23-year-old.

70's! He'll make a good CAM for a starter squad

Although, should he make the expected move to Manchester United, EA could bump that rating up a little to keep with the hype!

Potential - 88 OVR

He's been one of the standout signings on Career Mode for the last couple of seasons, and that won't change in FIFA 21, but he won't be as easy to sign!

A move to United would make van de Beek near on impossible to sign in your opening transfer window. His transfer value is also likely to shoot up significantly with a move to Old Trafford.

Ultimate Team

He won't be pulling up any trees with his base card, but van de Beek could be a decent squad player for the early stages of your Ultimate Team year.

Donny's 94-rated TOTS card was one of the best TOTS' of FIFA 20 but went under the radar somewhat due to the league he was playing in. A move to the Premier League would be a different story altogether.

TOTS! Donny had one of the best TOTS cards of FIFA 20

At 23-years-old, this is de Beek's last opportunity to make it into the Future Stars promo and we imagine that EA will take full advantage of that when the yearly promo comes back around.

Career Mode

As we've previously mentioned, any transfer would mean he won't be easy to get hold of. But if you do, you've got a very good player on your hands.

Donny can play in any of the central midfield positions - CM or CAM are his two preferred, but as his TOTS card showed, he's no chump at CDM.

The addition of the new growth system within FIFA 21's Career Mode means you can decide exactly where you want to play him!

His high potential means that whilst he won't be amazing to begin with, if you persevere you will have one of the very best midfielders in the world in no time. Winner!
