We have seen Flashback players on FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, but could Flashback Squads be introduced?
The Flashback Player SBCs are always popular, so imagine a whole promo celebrating these cards.
Take a look at what we want to see below.
All Time Manchester United XI
Reddit user @Foreverknight97 shared their ‘all-time’ Manchester United Ultimate Team, and it looks awesome.
We love this idea, although surely there are better options than Victor Lindelof and Scott McTominay…
Rio Ferdinand and Eric Cantona are unlucky to miss out, although they do cost a hefty fee on FUT 21 which could be the reason.
Throw in Edwin van der Sar too and that is a seriously good team. We would love to see classic club squads become available either online or offline, so make it happen EA.
This team gave us an idea though, a Flashback Squads promo.
Flashback Squads Concept
Picture this. A promo event solely focused on flashback players.
The promo squad could feature a particular team, for example the Manchester City side that broke the Premier League points record.
Players that no longer play for the club would feature, such as Leroy Sane, Nicolas Otamendi and David Silva.
City’s 100 club players could make up the squad released into packs, while various other Flashback SBCs and Objectives are released throughout the hypothetical event.
This may be wishful thinking, but we can only hope.
Classic Barcelona
Along the same theme, a classic Barcelona squad would be insane.
They could celebrate one of their five Champions League victories, with the likes of Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta, Gerard Pique and Javier Mascherano all included.
It would be great if Icons could receive these cards too so Xavi, Carles Puyol and Samuel Eto’o could also be in the squad.
Down the years Barcelona have had countless great players, and so many of them remain on FIFA in Icon form.
Ronaldo, Diego Maradona, Ronald Koeman and more have all played for the Catalan giants at some point in their careers, so there are plenty of players to choose from.
Iconic Arsenal
If a promo like this were ever to take place, the invincible Arsenal side would have to be in the conversation.
One of the greatest Premier League teams of all time, Arsenal went unbeaten during the 2003/04 Premier League season, and remain the only team to do so.
Six of those players currently feature as Icons on FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, but could there be more on FIFA 22?
French trio Robert Pires, Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira were key players in The Gunners’ success under Arsene Wenger and deserve to be celebrated.
