The Premier League is over, and we just have one final week of European football - before attentions will be on, at last, Euro 2020.
Who will make the final England sqaud is up for serious debate, but fortunately, Unikrn has put together the Three Lions side - as selected by FIFA 21 Ultimate Team community.
(Provisional) England squad REVEALED
With so many English players involved in the Europa League and Champions League finals, Gareth Southgate has been forced to announce a provisional 33-man provisional squad ahead of Euro 2020.
There's no space for James Maddison or Eric Dier - but might they have a better chance thanks to the FIFA community?
FUT fans selection
Foden is not the only current England regular left out of Ultimate Team fans' plans this summer.
Harry Maguire, Declan Rice, and Leeds' Kalvin Phillips are all missing from the squad which does include some forgotten men.
Unikrn has put together the team by analysing the most used players on FUT this year and concluded who would and wouldn’t make the cut for the nation’s 26-man squad this summer.
Marcus Rashford is by far the most popular, with over 38 million players using his basic card.
Kyle Walker is next on the list with around 30 million users with Manchester City teammate Raheem Sterling next at nearly 15 million.
Some of the surprise names include Roma centre-back Chris Smalling who returns to the England fold alongside Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
There is also room for Rangers right-back James Tavernier in the starting XI, and Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins is preferred to Harry Kane up top.
Reaction
A Unikrn spokesperson said;
“England have an armory of options ahead of the EUROs this summer and Gareth Southgate’s selection headache has only been made worse thanks to our list.
“Our findings have shown, where fans of FIFA Ultimate Team often select their players based on pace and mobility, some of the nation’s biggest talents have been left out of contention in our specially-selected 26-man squad.
“Foden and Maguire missing out purely comes down to their ability on FIFA and they should be two of the first names on the team sheet come June.
"However, with over a month until the tournament starts, plenty could change, and those currently on the periphery might force themselves into Southgate’s plans.”
