EA reports massive FIFA server issues

FIFA 21 servers are currently down for many players, as reported by EA.

SURPRISE: FIFA server issues are causing players headaches

While there's no cause identified just yet, these FIFA server problems are keeping players from connecting to EA and FUT servers.

So far, these issues seem concentrated for PlayStation players, but those aren't the only ones reporting problems so far.
