This must be a footballing first.

Footballing twins Lars & Sven Bender will be retiring together at the end of the season, with the Bayer Leverkusen duo not having their contracts renewed at Bayer Leverkusen.

Their careers are being celebrated in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, in the latest End of an Era SBCs.

Verdict

Given that the only alternative Bundesliga right back that can rival Lars Bender for pace is Kevin Mbabu, this is a very tempting move.

250,000+ coins is still plenty, and perhaps if you're patient, you can hold off for Kevin Mbabu's What If item - but that may not drop in price until Team of the Season arrives.

Verdict

It's a similar situation for Sven Bender, with a couple of alternatives that are slightly more expensive on the FUT market.

Lukas Klostermann's Champions League RTTF item (OVR 85) offers 87 pace and 87 defending, but will set you back over 300,000 coins, whilst Manuel Akanji RTTF card (OVR 87) costing upwards of 380,000 coins.

So again, try to wait a few weeks for those prices to fall further.
