It's been a superb start to the Premier League season, with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool looking unstoppable having collected 28 points from a possible 30.
As expected, Man City are the closest team to them however it is Leicester and Frank Lampard’s young guns that make up the rest of the top four.
Each month EA draws up a shortlist of players in contention to win Player of the Month (POTM) with the winner decided by a public vote.
The winner’s card is then only available by completing a Squad Building Challenge (SBC) on FIFA 20 Ultimate Team. As the cards are not available in packs, they are extremely rare and expensive to get your hands on!
RealSport looks at who is up for contention this month.
Ben Chilwell (OVR 79 – POTM 86)
Leicester defender Ben Chilwell is quickly becoming one of the best left backs in the league.
The England international provided two assists for his teammates in October and got on the scoresheet himself during the Foxes 9-0 rout of Southampton.

Not the quickest full back in the Premier League, Chilwell is available of the transfer market for just 900 coins on PS4 and 800 on Xbox One. This unpopularity may change if he is awarded EPL POTM for October as his attributes could soar up to a massive 86 OVR.
Jack Grealish (OVR 77 – POTM 85)
In a month that saw Aston Villa pick up six points it was captain Jack Grealish who inspired them. Scoring twice and assisting Matt Targett’s late winner against Brighton, Grealish helped drag Villa away from the drop zone.
It is no surprise that the upturn in their form coincided with the form of their very own midfield maestro, who is on the cusp of an England call-up.
A huge boost to his 77 OVR could be in store for Grealish if he wins October’s award. A POTM card for the attacking midfielder would provide pace and skill to any midfield on FUT making him a goal threat. His basic card can be bought for 750 coins on PS4 and 1,100 on Xbox One while his 81 rated TOTW card will set you back 10,000 coins on both consoles.
Christian Pulisic (OVR 79 – POTM 86)
Three wins from three in the league and five from five in all competitions represent an outstanding month for Chelsea.
Frank Lampard has the youngsters playing exciting football and Christian Pulisic has stepped up in October. The 21-year-old American blew Burnley away with a devastating hat-trick and he also provided an assist off the bench against Southampton.
Chelsea £60 million signing Pulisic could receive a POTM card with phenomenal 95 pace if he is to win this month’s award. His basic card can be bought for around 1,000 coins on both consoles, while his One to Watch (OTW) will cost 69,500 coins on PS4 and 83,500 on Xbox One.
Adama Traore (OVR 74 – POTM 82)
Rarely would an unbeaten month feel as disappointing, however Wolves failed to kick-on after beating Man City, only mustering draws against Southampton and Newcastle. However, the form of Adama Traore is sure to bring hope to Molineux.
The former Barcelona winger had been consistently inconsistent, but has strung together impressive displays following his heroic performance at the Etihad earlier in the month.

Possessing great pace already, Adama Traore would be a sensational POTM card. His basic 74 OVR card is expensive at 10,000 coins on PS4 and 12,750 on Xbox One. After the Man City game Traore featured in TOTW and his IF card costs just over 30,000 on both consoles. Traore also has an Ultimate Scream card with 85 OVR, that card is available for around 330,000 coins on both consoles, better get saving!
Jamie Vardy (OVR 82 – POTM 88)
The evergreen Jamie Vardy just can’t stop scoring! Top scorer in the Premier League with nine goals in ten games, Vardy is the spearhead for this talented Leicester side.
Champions League qualification is well within their reach this season with Vardy’s goalscoring exploits crucial to their success.

Just 7,600 coins can buy you Vardy on the transfer market with his 82 OVR card possessing high pace and shooting stats. After scoring four times this month, Vardy is in with a great chance of winning the October POTM which would make him one of the deadliest EPL strikers available on FUT.
