FIFA 20 Winter Refresh is finally here, everyone! But there could be more in store this weekend.
Last night (Friday 14 February) EA confirmed that the 50 top-performing players this season have been rewarded with an increase to their base card rating in-game. You can read all about them right here.
An all-new Winter Refresh team was also unveiled.
However, some fans believe a second announcement from EA may happen this evening (Saturday 15 February).
If it does, it'll be in the form of a customary post from @EASportsFIFA on Twitter at 6pm GMT.
Still in the dark about Winter Refresh? We've got all the key details below. And for those after even more detail, you can read absolutely everything about Winter Refresh right here.
So, what is the Winter Refresh? Wasn't it called Ratings Refresh last year?
Yep - but it's essentially the same thing.
This refresh comes every year at the halfway mark in the season, with EA taking the opportunity to update players' base ratings.
Release Date
The Winter Refresh news landed on Friday 14th (Happy Valentines!).
However, we could expect another announcement to drop over the weekend (15/16 February) so keep your eyes peeled. If it's anything like Ratings Refresh, they'll be more news landing next week too.

With so many players to get through, it could run all the way through to Friday 21 February.
How does Ratings Refresh work?
Look, it's called Winter Refresh now, guys.
Winter Refresh is EA's opportunity to update FUT card ratings to reflect the players that have improved throughout the 2019/20 season.
These upgraded cards will be released as standard base FUT cards.

If you already have a player's card, your card will not be upgraded - instead, a new card for the refreshed player will be released in packs.
However, your original base card may become more valuable on the FUT market (despite having a lower rating) because your card would have been discontinued in FUT packs.
Predictions
OK, so we already know who got boosts, but our predictions weren't far off.

Erling Haaland (OVR 73 → 78)

Haaland has started his Dortmund career with a bang, scoring five goals in just 59 minutes of game-time! As a result, the Norweigan was included in TOTW 19, and will surely be included in this winter's Ratings Refresh.
Timo Werner (OVR 83 → 84)
Still only 23, Timo Werner is another young forward with plenty of interest around him.
The RB Leipzig frontman has 23 goals in 25 games this season and is on the precipice of behind labelled as a world-class striker.
If he can give up his rate and fire RB Leipzig to a first-ever Bundesliga title, expect him to be regarded as one of the finest on the planet… and his £68 million market value to shoot up.
