Despite being out for over two months, EA have announced they are adding more licences to the latest instalment of the FIFA series.
Gamers will be able to play South America's biggest club tournament, with the CONMEBOL Libertadores coming to FIFA 20 in the new year.
How can I play it?
Gamers will have to wait until March 2020, at which point the South American tournament will be made available for download through a free content update (available on PS4, Xbox One and PC).
What is it?
CONMEBOL Libertadores, otherwise known as Copa Libertadores de America, is the most prestigious tournament in South American football.
FIFA players will be able to take control of historic clubs from Uruguay, Peru, Paraguay, Ecuador and beyond, as you look to lead your team to glory.

Where can we play it?
Esteemed South American clubs will be able to use across Ultimate Team, Career Mode, Kick-Off and of course, the new CONMEBOL Libertadores Tournament Mode.
Is the Copa Libertadores the only new tournament?
No! EA have also announced that Copa Sudamericana and Recopa Sudamericana will be coming to FIFA 20 as part of the update.

For all you European football fans, think of Copa Libertadores as the South American Champions League, whilst the Copa Sudamericana is the equivalent to the Europa League.

The Recopa Sudamericana is similar to the UEFA SuperCup in that the winners of Copa Libertadores will face off against the winners of Copa Sudamericana.
Bringing Boca Back?
With EA stating that players will be able to lead team like River Plate, Boca Juniors, Flamengo, Corinthians, and Colo-Colo through the competition, is this a confirmation that Boca Juniors will be returning to FIFA 20?
The Argentinian club are currently named Buenos Aires on FIFA 20, with PES 2020 holding the licensing rights to the Boca Juniors franchise.

PES is back in a big way this year, securing exclusive rights to Juventus and a licensing agreement with the Serie A.

Not to mention their groundbreaking agreement which sees the Thai League make its first appearance on any computer game and Konami’s confirmation that they have secured the rights to Euro 2020, with the full tournament being a DLC for PES 2020.
