Having a tall player in your squad in FIFA 20 can be a game changer.
Whether it be defending balls into the box or getting on the end of a set piece, they offer an alternative outlet and can cause nightmares for your oppositions defence.
You can stretch that logic to goalkeepers too, with the larger your stopper, the more of the goal they cover.

Tomas Holy (OVR 66 - POT 70)

For the second successive year, the Czech Tomas Holy comes in as the tallest player in FIFA, at a huge 6'9". Holy started his career with Sparta Prague and after a few loan spells across Europe, he eventually signed for Gillingham Town where he spent two seasons before a move to Ipswich Town in the summer.
With a potential of 70 and a transfer fee of around £750,000, Holy may be a good addition to your squad if you are in need of a stopper.
Abdoul Ba (OVR 67 - POT 70)

With a massive 91 strength as well as some decent defending attributes, the 6'8 Mauritanian could be a good addition for a lower league club, especially seeing as his wages will come in at under £2,000 a week.
Costel Pantilimon (OVR 73 - POT 73)

32-year-old Costel Pantilimon is coming towards the twilight of his footballing career, but at 6'8" is still one of the tallest in FIFA 20. The former Manchester City man has dropped to number two at Nottingham Forest following the arrival of Manchester City loanee Aro Muric.
With a 73 overall, Pantilimon will be a solid keeper for a lower league side. However, he will set you back upwards of £2 million as well as taking a fair chunk out of your wages, there are better alternatives out there if you are looking for a big man between the sticks.
Aaron Chapman (OVR 63 - POT 65)

Another goalkeeper playing down the leagues in England, Peterborough's Aaron Chapman. Chapman enjoyed a solid first season for the Posh, making 37 appearances and keeping seven clean sheets.
With a maximum potential of 65, Chapman is best suited for those lower division sides. With 66 diving, 65 reflexes and 62 positioning he would make a good squad player for a lower league team. He will set you back around £350,000, with wages of just £2,000 per week.
Lacina Traore (OVR 70 - POT 70)

With impressive strength attributes (88 OVR) and solid heading (79 overall) Traore would make a great target man for those sides on a budget, setting you back around £1.9 million.
Matt Casey (OVR 54 - POT 74)

Promising English youngster Matt Casey stnds at 6'8", but the 19-year-old is yet to make a league start for Portsmouth. He has featured three times for the club in the EFL Trophy this term, however, as the Blues look to defend their crown.
Whilst his base stats may not be the greatest, Casey has the potential to rise 20 ratings to a 74 overall. With a wage of just £890 a week, Casey is a must have centre half for any lower league side on FIFA 20.
Mikkel Mena Qvist (OVR 63 - POT 64)

Colombian-born Dane Mikel Qvist is one of FIFA's most versatile big men. Whilst his given position is a centre, he is also listed as a left midfielder and a striker in his alternate positions, which could come in handy if you need to throw him upfront chasing a goal.
The AC Horsens man is slightly expensive given his overall and potential, however, setting you back upwards of £300,000, with a maximum rating of 64, there are definitely better, cheaper options if you are after a new centre back.

Vanja Milinkovic-Savic (OVR 70 - POT 78)

Having hopped around from club to club on loan, Vanja signed a 12-month loan deal with Belgian side Standard Liege in the summer, who have committed to buying him in 2020 when the loan expires.

The 22-year-old may not be a household name like his brother, however he does still have some decent potential (78) and with already some decent stats to his name already, he is one of the better keepers you could go after if you fancy a big, intimidating presence between the sticks.
Demba Thiam (OVR 51 - POT 63)

Like his counterpart Thiam, Brolin's wages will set you back just £890 per week, and with a potential rating of 70, he seems much better business than the Senegalese. He would be worth a shot for a lower league side, causing no significant damage to your budget.
