FIFA 20 Career Mode: Players can now become managers after they retire... and Kepa is managing Ronaldo!

FIFA 20 Career Mode news is coming in thick and fast, with the Beta giving us a tease of what to expect from the new game.

A screenshot found its way on to the FIFA sub-Reddit appearing to show Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in management attire after hanging up their boots.

Although, the positions they have took up were very questionable. (Messi is the boss of Newcastle United).

EA released the FIFA 20 Beta given a lucky few the chance to play the new game early.

Although successful receivers of the Beta could play the game early, they were made to sign a non-disclosure agreement to keep as much information out of the public eye.

However, screenshots of menus, pack openings, and Career Mode managers have been leaked on Twitter and Reddit.

If you were chosen, a code would've been emailed to your EA Origin email account allowing you to download the beta through the Playstation Store or Microsoft Store.

Career Mode has been made available through the Beta. This has given the chance for users to see how some current stars of today have become managers in FIFA 20.

Here is the list of the players-come-managers that we know so far...

Lionel Messi - Newcastle United

A screenshot from Twitter shows a very unlikely move to the Magpies for Lionel Messi. His change in career led him to a clear mid-life crisis by taking over Newcastle and wearing those awful pink trousers. He may be the greatest footballer ever but he sure doesn't dress like it.

CR7 looks to remain in Italy as Sampdoria manager in FIFA 20. We do not know how far into the career mode this will happen but it is evident that it isn't too far into the career as current players will still play under slightly older current players.

Even in retirement Ronaldo looks like he is stepping up for a free-kick from 28 yards.

Phil Jones - LOSC Lille

After retiring it won't just be two of the greatest players of all time that will swap boots for tracksuits, or suits.

This may shock many of you but Phil Jones is pictured managing Lille in Ligue 1. Let us hope his managing career will be more successful than his playing career. At least the lifetime Red Devil has a better dress sense than Lionel Messi.

Ramsey is now the manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers. Despite having a positive impact since he joined, they sacked Nuno Espirito Santo for the Welshman in FIFA 20.

Gigi Buffon is yet to retire but his departure from the beautiful game is likely to be at the end of this season. on FIFA 20, Buffon began his managerial career at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Kepa Arrizabalaga - Piemonte Calcio (Juventus)

Perhaps the most hilarious of the lot, is Chelsea's Kepa Arrizabalaga becoming manager of Piemonte Calcio (Juventus). The Spanish goalkeeper received plenty of flack online for refusing to be subbed off in the League Cup final defeat to Manchester City, with plenty of memes suggesting he is the manager of the team.

Well this dream has been realised on the Beta, with the 24-year-old taking charge of the Italian champions, seemingly in the first season or two in Career Mode. Yes, he has decided to retire early and manage Cristiano Ronaldo. Bizarre.
