FIFA 20: Bundesliga Player of the Month Prediction February (POTM) - Gnabry, Sancho, Stindl & more

February has drawn to a close in Germany's top flight and with it comes a new set of predictions for the best performing individual in the month.

It was a month which was all about Germany's big boys, with Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund all continuing to push towards the title - although don't rule out the chasing pack!

There was big performances on the European front for the big three too, with all three coming out victorious in their opening knockout fixture, putting them in pole position to reach the quarters.

Although it is worth noting that the predictions for the POTM award are judged solely on league performances. With that in mind, here is our five-man shortlist for February's award.

Serge Gnabry (OVR 84 - POTM 89)

We still can't quite believe the turnaround in fortunes for Serge Gnabry.

A man who once sat on the bench for Tony Pulis' West Brom side is now a star for Bayern Munich and once again performed exceptionally in the month of February, notching up four goals and two assists in an unbeaten month for the league leaders.

Jadon Sancho (OVR 84 - POTM 89)

All eyes may be on new man - and current Bundesliga POTM - Erling Haaland, but that hasn't stopped Jadon Sancho from continuing to fire for BVB.

The young Englishman was a key man for Lucien Favre's side once more last month, scoring two and assisting two in four outings as Dortmund look to keep the pace with the two sides above them.

Lars Stindl (OVR 80 - POTM 86)

I'd mentioned not ruling out the chasing pack - notably fourth placed Borussia Monchengladbach.

They themselves enjoyed an unbeaten month in February, picking up eight points from a possible twelve - including an impressive 2-2 draw at Leipzig -

Stindl didn't feature that day but he did knock up four goals and an assist in three appearances to put him in contention.

Achraf Hakimi (OVR 82 - POTM 86)

Another Dortmund man who may well be in for the award this month is right back come right midfielder Achraf Hakimi.

The Moroccan features on the left of a back five for Dortmund - meaning he has a more advanced role going forward - and it certainly paid off in February, as he picked up four assists in four games.

Christopher Nkunku (OVR 77 - POTM 84)

The final name in our five man shortlist for the Bundesliga POTM award is RB Leipzig midfielder Christopher Nkunku.

Like Hakimi, February was all about providing for Nkunku, as he picked up five assists in his four appearances as Leipzig continued to stay hot on the heels of Bayern Munich as they chase that elusive first Bundesliga title.
