When thinking about future stars people often forget about young goalkeepers. It's a position that often requires experience and a calm head, which is not a young man's forte. However, the best goalkeepers are extremely expensive. This summer saw the transfer record for goalkeepers smashed twice and it is only getting more expensive. Taking players before they become great is the only way for some teams to go.
How to choose the best cheap high potential goalkeepers (GK) in FIFA 19 career mode
In this article we are looking for goalkeepers that are available for £5 million or less and have a potential of over 80. This means they won't break the bank and are viable options for most teams, and they also have the potential to develop into the best goalkeepers in the world. We have excluded goalkeepers currently on loan since you cannot sign them.
