- Primary Subject: Playmaker Reborn Evolution in EA Sports FC 27.
- Key Update: A match-free, time-locked Training Camp evolution that boosts low-tier cards up to an 80 OVR while adding the Long Ball Pass PlayStyle.
- Status: Live.
- Last Verified: October 13, 2026.
- Quick Answer: Submit standout low-rated silvers like Reo Hatate or Niccolò Pisilli into this free 24-hour upgrade chain to establish a clean foundation for subsequent high-tier evolution chains.
Evolutions in FC 27 continue to be restrictive, as the slowing power curve has affected it the most.
Playmaker Reborn is another upgrade intended for low-rated midfielders. Only CAMs or CMs with an overall rating of 74 or below are eligible.
There's a position restriction, too. CDM, CB, and ST are the three gated positions for the Evolution. Because of that, there aren't many eligible candidates.
Below are the best players for Playmaker Reborn Evolution.
Best Players For FC 27 Playmaker Reborn Evolution
The five standout players for Playmaker Reborn are:
- Reo Hatate
- Niccolò Pisilli
- Eren Dinkçi
- Juan Mata
- Ryan Hollingshead
Because of the low overall requirements, you need to search among the Silver players for potential candidates.
As we always say, for upgrades like these, pick players with a unique profile. Someone tall, someone who has 5 stars in either or both of SM and WF, or cards that already have good PlayStyles, as this makes them easy to build around in the future.
Reo Hatate is the best all-round pick. He has decent stats and excellent PlayStyles to build upon.
Niccolò Pisilli doesn't have as many PlayStyles, but the 22-year-old has well-rounded stats. A couple more upgrades and he can be a Gullit Gang player. Hollingshead is even better in that regard but can be harder to link.
This is also a good opportunity to bring the terribly low pace of some cards like Juan Mata to a respectable number.
