FUTTIES is usually the last major promo that is similar in stature to Team of the Year and Team of the Season for every EA FC cycle. But there will still be over a month left for the September 26 release of FC 26, so there has to be something to keep you busy.
While not as big a promo as the past ones, FC 25 Pre-Season will give players something to check out before moving on to the new game and earn rewards for FC 26. Here's what you can expect.
All details on FC 25 Pre-Season and leaked cards
Just as FUTTIES leaves, the Pre-Season promo will begin in FC 25. It'll prepare you for the next game as the promo allows you to earn rewards for FC 26. The rewards are generally just several packs.
In the past, some packs were behind Objectives while a few were part of the Season. We expect the same to continue this time as well. However, you'll have to wait a couple of weeks or so before you get the packs in the next game.
For FC 25, there will be new cards of players who have switched clubs this season. Some of the leaked cards for the promo are:
- Kevin De Bruyne (99)
- Florian Wirtz (98)
- Dean Huijsen (98)
- Tijjani Reijnders (98)
- Liam Delap (98)
- Marcus Rashford (98)
- Luka Modrić (98)
Not exactly the hardest names to guess, these were all some of the most high-profile and talked about transfers leading into the season.
What you can also expect with Pre-Season is 'Best Of' re-releases, like what we had with FUTTIES. Several FUTTIES and other promo cards will be packable again for a limited time every week, like we had in the past.
Re-releases are what the promo is about, as while new cards are leaked, there won’t be fresh Pre-Season batches like the Team 1 and Team 2 drops.
Likewise, we will also get another new Season that is themed entirely around the same. The Pre-Season will last four weeks, so both the promo and the Season will coincide.
So, all in all, Pre-Season is about preparing for the next game and having a last shot at getting your favorite cards from past promos to enjoy them during the dying minutes.
When does FUTTIES end in FC 25?
FUTTIES in FC 25 will end on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 10 AM PT (6 PM BST, 1 PM ET). That's one day after the new and the last Season for FC 25 releases.
Past FUTTIES, we'll also see the final promo for FC 25, Pre-Season. With the game effectively winding down and hype shifting towards FC 26, there may be less chatter than usual.
