FC 24 has been out for nearly four months now, but If you’re one of the dedicated Career Mode fans constantly on the lookout for some of the best young strikers and wonderkids in the game, then you’ve undoubtedly landed in the right place!
The latest football game developed by Electronic Arts may have represented a new chapter following their 30-year partnership with FIFA, but a fine number of talented players who you can nurture into future stars continue to emerge like there's no tomorrow.
Buckle up as we take a look at some of the young strikers with the highest overalls and potential within the game following Title Update 7, highlighting their specific physical and technical strengths along the way.
Rasmus Hojlund (76 OVR - 89 POT)
He may not have hit the ground running this season, but Manchester United continue to place a lot of faith in Rasmus Hojlund, who has the highest potential for a striker aged 21 or under in FC 24.
The 20-year-old Danish forward has an overall rating of 77, with the potential to reach 89-rated should he receive appropriate levels of game time and the right development plans.
Hojlund is a well-rounded talent that you’ll enjoy developing in Career Mode, as he boasts great pace and physicality, while also possessing decent shooting and dribbling stats.
Vitor Roque (76 OVR - 88 POT)
Currently one of the most talked about additions to FC 24, and it's clear to see why!
Vitor Roque joined Barcelona from Athletico Paranaense this month, where he scored 28 goals and assisted 11 more in 81 appearances. Arriving with 88 acceleration, 83 dribbling, 83 jumping, and 79 finishing, Roque has everything to be Barcelona's star man up front for years to come.
By developing Roque in your Career Mode save, the Brazilian wonderkid becomes one of the best strikers in the world. Luckily his release clause in FC 24 is only £33.5 million, which is an absolute steal considering the goal-scoring machine he can become!
Mathys Tel (74 OVR - 88 POT)
Next up we have the understudy of Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane, Mathys Tel. The young Frenchman is a player who you’re well poised to take advantage of in Career Mode, especially with the England captain approaching the twilight years of his professional career.
Tel recently received a well-deserved upgrade in FC 24 following a strong start to the season and has the right combination of attributes to become a dominant threat, best exemplified by his impressive ratings for jumping, dribbling, and acceleration, which are all in the high seventies.
In addition to that, Tel is a capable shooter in the game as shown by his 78 finishing and 84 shot power.
Youssoufa Moukoko (77 OVR - 87 POT)
Borussia Dortmund is known for churning out some of the finest young talents across Europe, especially when you look at some of their former players like Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham, who have cemented themselves as two of the biggest stars within today’s game.
You’ll have a task on your hands to get the left-footed Moukoko to be just as effective, but thanks to his 87 potential, there's no reason why you won't be able to! Although his heading accuracy leaves a bit to be desired, he’s got good finishing, composure, and positional awareness stats for a player of his age.
The young German striker has the right combination of attributes to become a world-beater in later seasons, with ratings of 82, 85 and 86 for acceleration, agility and balance respectively. Moukoko is also adept in possession, evidenced by his 81 rating for ball control.
Evan Ferguson (74 OVR - 86 POT)
Brighton's Evan Ferguson is only one of two strikers aged between 16 and 21 to have an 86 potential in FC 24, making him another fantastic option for Career Mode saves.
The Republic of Ireland international has become one of the best young strikers in the Premier League over the past year, during which he has scored 12 goals, including six this season.
Standing at 6'2", the 19-year-old offers a strong aerial threat in FC 24 with 80 jumping. Combine that with his 79 finishing, 79 positioning, and 75 strength, and you've got a right handful of a striker.
