More boxers revealed for ESBC

We thought that we might see a release date reveal soon, but it doesn't look like we'll be hearing about that for some time.

Instead, we got a reveal of 9 new names that will make their way onto the eSports Boxing Club roster. If you're a boxing fan, most of these names you'll be familiar with.

NEW FIGHTERS: Control the ring with each of these nine new boxers!

Let's get you introduced to the boxers that have recently been added to the game:

"Ferocious" Fernando Vargas

Fernando Vargas was one of the most tenacious boxers of his time and could deliver knockout power like no one had ever seen.

FEROCIOUS: Fernando Vargas enters the ring in eSports Boxing Club

He won the Light-Middleweight World Title at the age of 21, the youngest boxer to ever do it! Vargas was an entertaining boxer and should be just as fun to play as on ESBC!

"El Matador" Ricardo Mayorga

First Fernando Vargas, and now Ricardo Mayorga! eSports Boxing Club is bringing all of the heavy hitters to the ring! For those unfamiliar Ricardo Mayorga is a decorated fighter and one of the most fierce competitors.

POWER PUNCHER: Shock the world all over again in ESBC with Ricardo Mayorga

He is a former two-weight world champion, having held the unified WBA, WBC, Ring magazine, and lineal welterweight titles in 2003, and the WBC super welterweight title from 2005 to 2006.

Floyd Mayweather Sr.

Floyd Mayweather Sr. was a strong fighter during his time, boxing from 1974 to 1990. He may not have all the titles as the other competitors on this list, but he was considered a great defensive boxer.

Along with being able to box with Floyd Mayweather Sr., this could be a big step for ESBC to land his son, Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Jeff Mayweather

The younger brother of Floyd Mayweather Sr. has been added to eSports Boxing Club as well. Jeff Mayweather was known for holding the IBF Super-Featherweight Title from 1994-1995.

Much like his brother and his nephew, Jeff Mayweather had a strong defense during his time as a boxer and has passed that on to the students he trains now.

Michael Nunn

The two-weight lineal World Champion in the Middleweight and Super-Middleweight class makes his way onto the ESBC roster.

WELCOME TO THE CLUB: Two-weight World Champion Michael Nunn is added to the ESBC roster

Nunn finished his career with a record of 58-4 with 37 knockouts. He held the IBF Middleweight Title from 1988 to 1991 and is a great addition to eSports Boxing Club.

"The Bodysnatcher" Mike McCallum

Mike McCallum got his nickname "The Bodysnatcher" for good reason as he ended up being a three-weight World Champion.

THE BODYSNATCHER: Enter the ring as Jamaican Mike McCallum in eSports Boxing Club

He was a Jamaican professional boxer whose career lasted from 1981 to 1997. In that time he finished with a record of 49-5-1 with 36 KO's.

Israel Vazquez & Rafael Marquez

These two made headlines together during their career so we couldn't separate them. They have a long history together and one of the first things you should do when you launch ESBC is play out this rivalry.

They fought four times between 2007 and 2010, the crazy part? Two of their fights won "Fight of the Year" and each one of the fighters won twice! This rivalry is still undecided even with both of the fighters having retired.

Emanuel Augustus

The 5'7 Light Welterweight from the United States gained notoriety due to his unique fighting style. Most people when watching Augustus fight believed him to be drunk.

Crowned "The Drunken Master" Emanuel Augustus won the IBA Light Welterweight Title in 2004. He finished his career with a record of 38-34-6, not the best win-loss ratio.
