After the debut of the "Varsity" Forum collaboration earlier this year, END. is back teaming with adidas to reveal a new "Ceramic Craze" Ultraboost 1.0 colourway which offers a completely original take on one of adidas' most iconic silhouettes.
Inspired by the pottery, the "Ceramic Craze" Ultraboosts combine neutral, light tones to give them a warm-weather aesthetic, putting them in line to be considered some of the best summer sneakers to add to your rotation.
This contrasts the END. x adidas "Varsity" Forum Lows, for instance, which arrived dressed in darker red and yellow tones which, in our opinion, make them some of the best sneakers for fall with their more autumnal colour scheme.
As we're still in summer though, it's time to take a closer look at the new "Ceramic Craze" Ultraboosts. So, without further delay, here's everything we know about their release so far...
END. x adidas Ultraboost OG 1.0 Ceramic Craze Release Date
According to END., the "Ceramic Craze" Ultraboosts are available now as of 20 August 2022 following the closure of its raffle at 00:01 BST.
The winners were said to have been notified shortly after, with the prize being a chance to secure a pair through the END. website. At this moment, it seems only winners are able to cope the "Ceramic Craze" Ultraboosts, so stay tuned for further details of their release right here.
END. x adidas Ultraboost OG 1.0 Ceramic Craze Design
END. describes its upcoming adidas collaboration as a 'trip to the pottery' as the "Ceramic Craze" colourway combines neutral hues similar to the unglazed look of a clay sculpture.
More specifically, the Primeknit uppers are dressed in an off-white tone, whilst the side-wall cages and heel counters are made from a slightly darker cream leather with a cracked texture.
The shoes then sit on top of the Ultraboost's usual white foam midsoles, although the outsole panels arrive in a similar cream tone to the leather overlays.
END. makes several references to the fact that the design is a collaboration as well. For instance, the adidas-branded tongue tabs are replaced by END.'s own logo in a metallic grey.
You'll also find END. and adidas co-branding at the end of the shoelace aglets to complete the collaborative design.
END. x adidas Ultraboost OG 1.0 Ceramic Craze Price
END. has confirmed that the "Ceramic Craze" Ultraboosts cost $175, or £150, in adult sizing.
This aligns with the usual retail price of a pair of Ultraboost 1.0s at this moment in time, although it is a tad cheaper than some of the upcoming collegiate Ultraboosts like the "Arizona State" colourway launching this month.
Where To Buy The END. x adidas Ultraboost OG 1.0 Ceramic Craze
END. recently ran a raffle to purchase the "Ceramic Craze" Ultraboosts from its website.
The sneakers should become available to purchase shortly after the raffles closure on 20 August. Alternatively, keep an eye out for the sneakers on the adidas store as well after they drop.
If miss out on the chance to secure your pair through END. or adidas, then we'd recommend checking out the resale market at StockX as an alternative place to buy.
