There were 30 incredible courses available to play from the start (with more being added throughout the season) and you can now step up to the tee box and challenge the very best around.

Latest - Season 3 is LIVE

Season 3 of EA Sports PGA Tour is now live, releasing on Tuesday, 13 June, with additional updates coming at the same time.

The big news is that a new course has been added, with The Los Angeles Country Club included, which hosted the 2023 US Open!

NEW CHALLENGE - Get to know the new Los Angeles Country Club course in EA Sports PGA Tour

It is available to play in all game modes, and in Career Mode the US Open Championship event will now alternate between The Los Angeles Country Club and The Country Club every other season.

Season 3 also introduced many fixes and adjustments, additional gear and equipment in the store, and an improved "notchless" Swing Meter.

EA Sports PGA Tour Release Date

The EA Sports PGA Tour release date was pushed back to Friday, 7 April 2023 after yet another delay to the already delayed original release date.

An early access period of three days was available just like other EA sports titles, so those who qualified for early access were able to step up to the tee on Tuesday, 4 April.

WAITING GAME - Another short delay has hit the launch

The title was initially meant to be released on Friday, 24 March, with early access coming on Tuesday, 21 March.

Platforms

EA Sports PGA Tour is available on next-gen/current-gen platforms only.

A next-gen exclusive, there is no further information on whether the game will be released on PS4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch in the future.

EA Sports PGA Tour Roster

The full roster for EA Sports PGA Tour is now known, with plenty of high-profile stars featuring.

22 pro players are available to use, with Scottie Scheffler topping the ratings with a 92 OVR, and he is joined by other PGA Tour members including Jordan Spieth and Tony Finau.

Danielle Kang and Nelly Korda are also included as the LPGA features in the game too.

EA Sports PGA Tour Courses

The four men's majors are all exclusively available in EA Sports PGA Tour, and with them come some incredible courses.

Augusta National and the home of golf St Andrews are two high-profile inclusions, while the infamous 17th at TPC Sawgrass will also be in the game.

With great courses such as Augusta National brought to life using "state-of-the-art equipment such as drone technology, custom LiDAR flight helicopters, and more to develop terrain maps," the new game will certainly look the part.

The official Course Overview Trailer for EA Sports PGA Tour dropped on Tuesday, 21 February at 11am EST / 4pm GMT.

It showed off some of the stunning courses rendered with highly detailed accuracy!

We were given a more in-depth look at some of the most famous courses in the world, such as St Andrews and Augusta, with behind-the-scenes images from the design process.

Gameplay

We got our first look at the EA Sports PGA Tour gameplay in the trailer, which you can view below:

The game can run at 30 fps, 60 fps or unlocked framerate on PC, however, on a console, it will only run at 30 fps.

A statement on the official website reads as follows:

We understand that some players have a strong visual preference for higher framerate in their video games and we’ve heard community feedback surrounding the fps of the game on console. As a result, we’re examining the ability to add it into the game in the future.

LPGA

There are plans for EA and the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) to bring the LPGA Tour to EA Sports PGA Tour.
