EA Sports FC 24 is a brand new game from EA, ushering in a new era of football gaming following the end of the FIFA franchise.
Luckily for EA, most of their extensive license portfolio is signed off with them, with FIFA having to look for alternate options.
One such license that has been expanded in recent years is with Rangers, Celtic and the rest of the SPFL.
Now, it looks like two major stadiums are set to arrive in the brand-new game.
EA Sports FC 24 SPFL Stadiums
Last year, EA announced exclusive license deals with Celtic and Rangers, the two biggest sides in the SPFL.
The two sides had been contracted to Konami and PES in recent years, with their stadiums off-limits to EA as a result.
However, the turntables looked to have rotated, with EA announcing deals with the clubs last year.
Much to the frustration of both Celtic and Rangers fans, the deals were concluded too late in the day for implementation across FIFA 23, with the generic stadiums in place instead.
Now, things look to be changing, with EA Sports FC 24 set to introduce Celtic Park and Ibrox for the first time.
Two iconic arenas of sporting spectacle and passion, both stadiums have been heavily rumoured to feature, with fans of both clubs uniting for a singular moment to celebrate their arrival in the game.
Nothing has been confirmed yet, but it's looking increasingly likely that these two famous footballing arenas will be added to EA Sports FC 24.
Further Expansions
For now, it looks as though the rest of the SPFL will have to wait and see whether further expansion is put in place.
Most Scottish football fans will accept that Rangers and Celtic have the biggest pull, but the more the merrier is very much our motto when it comes to authentic stadiums.
With all Premier League teams receiving official stadium scans, we'd like to see EA continue to work through their impressive license portfolio and bring a ton of other footballing arenas to life.
For now, the only stadium we can safely say will be officially added is Luton Town's Kenilworth Road, with the club securing promotion to the Premier League this season.
