A LITTLE SOMETHING: What could be in store for Skate fans?

The statement above was released yesterday, and we're hoping to get an early teaser or first look at EA Skate 4 today.

Exactly what will be revealed isn't clear, but it's likely to be an attempt by EA Skate 4 to put their competitors on notice.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 is revitalizing skateboarding games

While their primary competition is clear, it's perhaps thanks to that very competition that EA Skate 4 has so much excitement this early in development.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 and 2 are still the gold standard of skateboarding games, which is why it's no surprise that the remastered versions of those classics has seen such success.

After initially launching on PC, PS4, and Xbox One back in September of 2020, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 later jumped to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and most recently Nintendo Switch.

The remaster has seen both commercial and critical success since being released, and each additional platform continues to extend the reach of what many consider to be two of the greatest video games of all time.

EA Skate 4 will have big shoes to fill and high expectations, but it's the success of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 that is helping build anticipation.
