Destiny 2 developer Bungie has just dropped some huge news on the next generation of their FPS title.
We already knew that the major expansion, Beyond Light, is arriving on 10 November, but now Bungie has revealed a release date for the next-gen optimised-edition of Destiny 2!
Next-Gen Destiny Release Date
The next-gen optimised version of Destiny 2 will be arriving on 8 December 2020.
Don't fret though as whilst these next-gen enhancements are not arriving until December, 'things like faster load times and cross-generation play will be available on November 10'.

Bungie has stated that although there will be improvements to loading times and things like inspecting character inventory, load times dependant on network or matchmaking may still take time.
Field of View introduced for the first time
One feature that Bungie has highlighted in their new 'Field of View customisation', which they are offering for the first time.
Bungie is hoping to introduce a FOV range similar to PC and has said they are 'currently 'testing these settings to ensure smooth performance across each platform and will have additional details closer to launch'.
