Blood Bowl 3 will be perfect for sports fans after something a little different in the gaming genre in 2023. It comes as the third instalment in the franchise and will be designed for next-gen consoles and PC with all the fantasy elements of previous games.
For those not in the know, Blood Bowl is a turn-based fantasy sports game in the Warhammer World. Each team will have its fair share of weird and wonderful creatures, each with unique abilities. Let's take a look at everything we know so far about the upcoming title.

Blood Bowl 3 Release Date
If you missed the PC beta of the new game, there's no need to worry, because it's dropping to all platforms very soon. The release date was finally revealed at the game awards 2022, along with the final gameplay trailer.
Blood Bowl 3 will release on the 23rd of February 2023, to all platforms except the Nintendo switch. Switch players will receive the game later on in 2023, but we don't expect you'll have to wait too long.
The new title will feature full crossplay in its online multiplayer, so there will be plenty to get stuck into. A full story-led campaign will also be available, which won't require an online subscription for console players.
Trailer and Gameplay
We've already seen a few gameplay reveals, as well as the beta for Blood Bowl 3 this summer for PC players. If you're looking to get a real feel for what's in store though, check out the cinematic trailer released for Gamescom 2020.
Here you'll get a glimpse of what's in store for the campaign and multiplayer, and much more besides. Each character will have unique abilities as in previous games, and mastering how they work as a team will be crucial to securing the win.
